Disney Gift Card Deals

That is exactly what I do. This last sale I did two $900 orders and one $600 order. Because I have $1000 in ebucks to be paid out this month, I will add another $900 order.

I thought the limit was $500 Ebucks per quarter?

I haven't received an order from GCM that I placed on Mar 24th. It was shipped out on the 28th and seems stuck in Denver. When should I contact them? FYI: orders I placed on the 25th and 29th both arrived on Saturday.

I would give it a couple more days. I had one like that recently. Two separate orders shipped the same day and one got stuck saying it left Denver but never anymore updates for days. It arrived a day or two after the other order and USPS didn't update tracking until it was our for delivery.

Rats! I ran outside to see why my dog was barking just in time to see the UPS truck drive away! Now my tracking on two orders says that "The receiver was not available at the time of the first delivery attempt. A second attempt will be made.". Obviously, they never tried to come to the door because of the dog (who is very friendly but hates the UPS truck). Of course, I have an appointment tomorrow and probably won't be home when they try again!

I currently have $2200 in Ebay and $2150 in Target (the rest of my funds are already in Disney) and then $500 ebucks reward. My only plan for maximizing is to get GS first, before I start buying Target. I don't know if I have any kind of PPDG soft limit, so I'm going to have to test the waters $200 at a time and see how much I can get. I have at least a handful of GS I can hit to switch them back to eBay. I really want to get my full ebucks reward by the time we leave mid-May, since I don't want to be doing this on vacation and the ebucks period will be nearly over by the time we get back. But I honestly don't know how much one can realistically churn through each promo. We did get my mom $340 ebucks during the last 2-day 5x promo, but it did cause issues with her PP account for about 24 hours. We did that by buying $1k in GS in two orders and $1400 in Target in three orders.

The fact that you'd even think about the possibility of doing this while ~on~ vacation shows that someone is just a little bit addicted... ;-)

I hate when they don't even attempt delivery. I don't have a dog but some days when I work from home I find a slip in my mail box, but no one ever rang or knocked, which means they didn't even attempt to make the delivery. It's just lazy.

Ugghhhhhhhhhh. I feel ya!

I do the opposite. I once tried to file a claim that was in fact legitimate and not against any terms and conditions. Except one I didn't know about: already having items in my cart. Ebates response for not crediting me was that I had to go through their portal with an empty cart. So now I go to the site, clear my cart and THEN start at Ebates.

Hmm, weird. I have been using ebates for 6 years...very heavily...I always load my cart first, click over to ebates and then go through to check out. Never had a problem getting credited or receiving credit when submitting a ticket. The only time ebates has ever denied me on a ticket was when I paid with GC's.

Is there any risk with that? DH has an Ebay account I could double up with.

You are allowed to have ebucks signed up on one account per person. I actually signed up for it on two of my own accounts this past quarter b/c I was trying to open a new PP and have a different account linked to that PP (trying to get around the $5k PP limit). I was not trying to get around the $500 per quarter. Anyways, I earned some ebucks on that account too but I won't be using it going forward.

If you don't mind me asking, how do you use your Sears and KMart in your churns? Can you buy gc's there with the gc's, and what kind? No Kmart close, maybe 30-40 min away, Sears is a small like appliance store here, have to travel a bit with that, too. So wondering how good it works for you, are you just lucky that your stores take the cards as payment or is that normal?

I have not used sears, except to exchange digital sears cards into physical sears cards. If I ask, they say I can't buy other gift cards with their gift cards, so I haven't gone back to try again, since I can do it at Kmart pretty easily. Also, I am not sure Sears has ebay or GameStop cards. You can use Sears and Kmart cards interchangeably at either location.

Before I started adding in GameStop, I was using Kmart to get ebay (or Disney, if available) cards in order to avoid spending too much through Target. The problem is, my local Kmart only carries $25 ebay cards (the one I go to near Indy, when I take my kids to their Dad's, carries $50 Disney Cards as well). Now that I am adding the GameStop step, I get GS reward points, and I can get bigger ebay cards. And, my Kmart currently carries $50 GS cards, so I don't have to use as many of those, either. Also, there's no shipping charges on most Kmart and Sears cards. I only use physical gift cards at Kmart because the digital ones require a manager override.

I did a little on vacation, but only during the first 15 minutes after I take my Ambien (it takes at least an hour to kick in and I've tried to avoid Disboads during that time since I apparently tried to do a referral once when I was on it, which I have no memory of, and got a very kind message from a moderator....sorry! I also fix food I don't remember eating when I am on it....not sure why I never feel the need to mop or do laundry lol).

there is a option where you can presign the order, but than they will leave it infront of your door.
That option is never available for me through GCM. I get this option through Target though.

I guess I need to find a 12 step program somewhere to deal with my addiction. I go on vacation in less than 2 weeks and will be converting my Target cards to Ebay and watching for an ebucks deal.

Same here. Only place I've seen that says you have to place an item in the cart after going through ebates is Staples.

so if I were to use hubby's ebay account to earn ebucks also, would It have to have it's own paypal account, or can I use his account with my paypal?

I thought it was strange as well. But to avoid not getting credit I'm just always sure to empty my cart. I've more than a few times been credited doing it how you do it (purposely before the incident and accidentally afterwards) but it just took that one time where they actually replied with that being the reason that I won't do it intentionally any more.

I have actually seen this in the T&C for Amazon purchases, so I did make sure and clean out my cart for those purchases, but have not seen it on other stores I use. I also generally fill up my cart and then go back to ebates and have never had any trouble.

If any of you got the Staples email about $25 off Visa Checkout and wanted to know if it works on gcs. It didn't work for me. Tried to buy $100 Target egc + sponges then I tried physical Sears gc.

Because Paypal and Ebay are the same company, at the moment. I would suggest that you have separate paypal accounts. Otherwise you give Ebay an argument to say that one person has multiple accounts with ebucks enable.

My dh & I do share a PP account. I think it would be best to have separate PP's BUT I tried to open a PP for my dh to just have for him, and even though it was verified and I spent HOURS on the phone with both PP and ebay, they could never get my orders to go through. So, he is back on my PP. So far, I've had no trouble with him using mine. If you can get separate ones to work, and it seems most people can, I'd go with that.
