DIS /Dreams Exclusive Backstage Magic Adventure 7/9-7/14/17 Sold Out!!

Does anyone know how many suitcases we can take? We will be able to take two each on the plane but was not sure about the coach?

Also is it easy to get from lax airport to the lowes hotel?
ABD suggests you limit your suitcase to one per person. We usually "cheat" a bit and take three for the two of us. However, BSM is easy clothing-wise so even that's probably more than enough.

Easy to get from LAX to Loews? ABD will have a driver meet you in baggage claim. They will help you retrieve your baggage and escort you out to their car. They drive you to Loews (note spelling). Easy.

We are going the day before so I assumed we would need to make our own way?

If you booked the extra day through ABD, they will provide the transportation.

I'm looking forward to Imagineering too, Chandra. That is one of the top five reasons for me to do this ABD trip. I'm also very interested in the Jim Henson Studios and going backstage at DL and DCA.

Hi Chandra hope your looking forward to the trip as much as we are. It must have been good for you to want to do it again :)

We have now booked our flights :), yes a bit early but I was waiting for them to go under a certain price and wanted to do it before they rocket up in price when the UK does it's silly thing next next.

All sorted now just need to book d23 tickets.

I have loved the great tweets from John and Kevin during their just completed ABD BSM. I am so excited for this trip.

I'm not on your trip but just finished my first ABD Backstage Magic. OKW Lover is an expert. He's been on many ABDs as well as many BSMs. If he's on your trip, you're lucky. I really enjoyed his wisdom. You're absolutely going to love John and Kevin. They're the best and were very patient with all my questions. Our trip had 5 children 11-16. There were 3 solo travelers. No matter what your expectations are, they should be exceeded. Mine were. Enjoy your trip.

That is super nice of you to let us know. I am so excited for this trip.

Are you on the trip with us Jeff? That would be great.
Sadly, no. I've now enjoyed this adventure 4 times and have seen something new every time. But having just done this a couple of weeks ago I'm thinking it will be another year before I go back.

BTW a suggestion to those on this trip, especially those coming from the east coast. Try to book an extra pre-night or two at the Loews. We find that the long flight and the time change makes us a bit tired and out of sync. BSM has some very early mornings and long days. You're best off not starting the week tired.

Cheers for the advise, we are flying from the U.K. and decided on an extra night and better class on the flight so we are ok for the first day.

Normally when we go to the USA we normally end up waking up at 5am on the first day as we get used to it.

By the time the adventure starts hopefully we will be on the correct time.

Try flying East...that's way harder for me. That first morning going to WDW from the west coast is a killer. What we do is to take the earliest flight out (forcing us up at 3-4am) and then not napping (just call it a night slightly early). Helps us adjust quicker.

We are thinking of going to Universal on the Sunday or the WB studio. Not sure if anyone else is interested in coming along.

Will be an early start as we need to be back for the meet up.

I love WB Studios. We went there once in 2012. Either Universal or WB would make a great day.

I'm still thinking we will go to Universal on Sunday and maybe the LA Farmer's Market on Saturday. Craig, John and Kevin have enticed me to try that out.

Hey all....I have a confession to make.

This trip has been so far gone from my mind since the end of summer. I have gone through the very personal loss of some friends and a co worker, around Thanksgiving.
The teachers life as well has taken my head out my magical place....just been a busy few months.
I WAS able to sneak in a trip to WDW for the Halloween Party late Sept/early October and also managed to take part in a day at Food and Wine...just loved it.

Anywho, I received this email yesterday, as I believe you all did. And it go me excited for this trip again! My house is coming along in Clermont, Florida....and it should be finished by January they are telling me. Excited for 2017 to be a much better year, god willing. Hope everyone is doing well.

" Our breakfast on day three will now take place at the Walt Disney Studios Commissary and lunch will be at the newly restored Grand Central Air Terminal on the Walt Disney Imagineering campus. This site was the birthplace of commercial aviation in the Los Angeles region and is associated with pioneers of American aviation including Amelia Earhart, Howard Hughes and Charles Lindbergh.

Guests will enjoy lunch in the terminal building and experience the Visitor Center. Researched, designed and installed by Disney Imagineers, the Visitor Center provides a rich experience of the building's history."
