"ding" rates on airlines question -help please

What is a "ding"? How do you sign up to get them? Has anyone ever gotten one from Austin to Orlando or Austin to New York? What airlines have them?

Ding is a program for Southwest Airlines. I can't tell you if they do those routes also, because you specify the airports you are interested in and right now I only get Chicago rates.

go to http://southwest.com and download the Ding program.

Usually once or twice a day, you'll get a notification of special rates. The "sale" is usually only good for a couple of hours.
