We had a nice three hour ride up from home, and arrived at 8:30 AM on the 18.....room was ready as soon as we went to pre-check in....it was GREAT right up front....first floor.. We were at All Star Music......nice clean room!!
We decided (ok DS decided) we were going to Epcot first......we went right over to Test Track for fast passes (the whole time me saying I AM NOT GOING ON THIS RIDE) we had an hour wait, so we walked around and went to Norway , and SpaceShip Earth....THEN, I WENT on TT......As we were waiting in line I noticed the lady in front of me had a DIS shirt on, and I also noticed her green ribbon......It was Snuggles-----I was to excited (OK SCARED TO DEATH) about the ride --so I didnt say hi at that point.....now I have to say the ride was better then I thought (would I go again?--maybe OH OK yes)---my son kept saying, Oh its NOTHING mom come on....I hope the bruise on his leg from where I was holding on goes away soon....After the ride, I said Hi to snuggles (it was so nice to meet her----wish we had more time)--I hope her families ears are back to normal after all my screaming (unless they couldn"t hear me over Snuggles--heehee).

The trip was WONDERFUL, short--but aren't they all,
We happened to be there on the Coldest day they had there so far. When we got on Main Street USA on the 20th, City Hall told us it was 29 degrees.... Cold for anytime in Florida----but we were bundled up like eskimos on a ice fishing trip.. so away we went.. the lines were not long at all, we never used fast pass except for the test track, the whole trip. We had a Great time as always....just wish I could have made it over to the Dis Meet...We will be going back in Feb. Hope to run into someone again......

I cant believe you were in ASMusic! We were too. We were in Jazz room 2546 I think. I think its interesting that we were so close in line. I'm glad you spoke it really made my day to finally meet another Dis person. Oh and thanks for writing your report.

Yes------It IS a SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!!!!--to think of allllll the people there, we met in a line----to cool really.....

Going back Feb.3rd----gonna be there?

Thanks Tink13 and Snuggles. I'm new to this board. I'm a teacher. We were thinking about going to WDW next Dec., but teachers don't get out for Christmas Break until the 18th or 19th. Would this be just too crowded of a time to enjoy WDW? How long were the waits in lines for you two? What dates did you go? We've also considered going next Jan. 2 or so, in 2002. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello and welcome........I myself have not been on the boards long,,,,,but everyone here is so nice it feels like HOME already......We really had no trouble with lines...the longest was PeterPans flight believe it or not....and that was 30 mins.....we had a 10min wait at Buzz LIght Year...and a 15 to 20 min wait at the others we went on.....We were there the 17,18,19,20,,,and this was the last of the 2000 celebration, so I thought crowds were larger then years before.and theywere not bad at all..I have already made our reservations for next Dec. 15,16,17,18 in the NEW POP CENTURY Hotel.....it opens on the 15th of Dec, 2001 so we will be one of the first in there....why don't ya call and see if you can get a room for next year.....I think you will find the lines manageable......just hope it isnt 29 degrees again----Hope this helped.

Hi Lisa,,


It was a GREAT surprise to me...I had just been on the boards for two months, and not very much at that point....and I think I had just read about the green ribbons a few weeks before I went to Disney in Dec. I really could NOT believe it when I saw Snuggles in line in front of me at TEST TRACK...I was not going to say anything at first..( a little shy here--YEAH RIGHT heehee).But after I SURVIVED the ride, I thought I MUST say hi (and so glad I did)......I only wish I had of known about the meet at WL earlier (did not see it on the boards)...would have loved to meet the others and talk with Snuggles more (our two mins. was not long enough!!) As it was I had other family plans-(even though my wonderful DH would have understood) and didn't make it over there... NEXT TIME for SURE.....

For People who "GET" the DISNEY MAGIC..no explanation is needed...
For those who do NOT..no explanation will do.ºoº
