DEAR DIS FRIENDS ARE YOU USING YOU DC CARD AS AN ENTERTAINMENT CARD???

I just used the DC card at my favorite Cafe,The Hungery Hippo,for a 20% discount on the entire bill!! They happily gave me the discount! and They were informed last April of this discount!! I was the first to use my card there and had no problem. They even thought the card has a cute pic on it!!

That little Entertainment Logo on the back did it! It is good all over the USA for Food,Hotels,and Shopping & Services,and more I don't recall. But I will be checking the web site next to see what else this little DC card will save money on!!!

I have used mine too. I called the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver where we are spending two nights before our Alaska cruise and asked if they give entertainment rate. They are not listed in the booklet from Disney Club but said we sure do. 50% off which is 175.00 night plus tax, normally 350.00 night. We could never afford to stay there without our Disney Club discount. I saved 350.00 and not at WDW.

I just used mine (sort of) for a hotel in NYC. They do accept Entertainment Cards, but they had a promo rate that was even better, so I took that. But it was really easy to get the Entertainment info.

That is just so AWESOME!! This is a real money saving feature of the DC that has been overlooked and under appreicated!

This could save us so much money at other places than at WDW, That another trip could be funded in the future!!

is that $175 CD or USD? We're going to Alaska for a cruise this summer also, I have ressies pre and post cruise and the Pacific Palisades (ent rate), Wyndham Suites and Hilton! I should compare the pan pacific!

When are you going? We're going Aug 24 on the Celebrity Infinity!

You bet! I got an Entertainment Club discount at Humphrey's Half Moon Bay Inn in San Diego over Thanksgiving weekend...that alone saved me the cost of membership!
