are there any updates or FOOD Porn for this place..we went a few years back and have read some reviews..but would like to see updated food porn and or reviews

Hi Pumba,
We went in July and had a great experience. I didn't take detailed notes, but several wonderful salads, excellent roast meat, and seafood, of course. I was sceptical going in, as you know we can eat great seafood at home, but it was great.

Here are some images from two of my trips in the past two years that included Cape May. They're camera phone pics, so they aren't super food porn-y, but hopefully they help. I did enjoy both times I ate at Cape May and will definitely being eating there on a future trip. As you may be able to tell from the pictures, I really enjoyed the meat...

DS11 and I ate dinner there for the first time over this past Thanksgiving and really enjoyed it. We're not seafood eaters either, DH and older DS are and I booked it before we knew they'd be coming down a few days later. There were enough non-seafood options for us and all was delicious-the meat, salads, DS loved the ribs and ate like the equivalent of 3 full racks lol. The seafood options were plentiful but I can't speak to those. Dessert was awesome; we both want to go back and take DS14 and DH.

I went in Feb with DD5 and DD10. We are seafood lovers. The food, especially the beef, is very good. The crab legs are meh - they are snow crab and not the easiest to open if they have gone soggy. If you really want to eat lots of crab be prepared to be a while getting the shells off. Other seafood is very good. Well worth the price. Nice décor / theming.

thanks for the reviews and I went and made another reservation there..I did make one and then cancelled it a few months ago..and then decided what the heck..lets give it a try..so looked on line and voila..three different times in the time we would like....thanks again

It's a must do for our trips. DH isn't a seafood fan and he always finds lots to eat, I love seafood so I'm in heaven when we go, lol. The roasted meats are great and they have some delicious sides like the brussel sprouts.

We LOVE Cape may! Dinner at 5:00 always is super for us, on a night where there are ribs also for our younger son.

We love Cape May and do it every trip. I will say though that we always get there right at opening as I feel the crablegs get saltier and saltier as the night goes on.

We didn't go last trip, but we have reservations for our trip in November. We definitely won't leave hungry! Great selection!

We were just there on June 10, we have 2 seafood eaters, 1 that is so-so, and 1 that eats no seafood at all. Everyone really liked the food and walked away extremely full. Great selections, the beef and the ribs were great. The seafood was good as well, the crab legs did not seem worth the trouble, but everything else was great.

No pics, but was just there Christmas week. I do not generally care to be there, but we were in a quiet back room, and the food was very good! (I am not a big fan of shellfish, for reference) They had perfectly cooked calamari, which is rare on a buffet I think, salmon with a tomato pesto, carved beef, fried clams, pasta, a few salads, clams in shells and crab legs, etc.. I would have liked more vegetables to be available, and the offerings seemed scaled down, but what was there was good and replenished frequently.

We were there after Thanksgiving and it was delicious. My only drawback was the service. Our dinner server was fairly slow (with the other tables as well). We had a delicious fun breakfast there as well and our server was kind of sour then. But nothing that would keep me from returning!

Just be careful of your ADR time if you plan on using the Disney buses to get back to your hotel. Was there in September had a 8ish ADR. Epcot closed at 9, HS at 8:30 so after eating a mountain of crab legs. Epcot was closed so I couldn’t get to the front for my bus back to AKL and the buses at HS would have stopped running by the time I got to HS. Thought about using Uber/Lfyt but I never used it before. Ended up taking the bus to Disney Springs and then waiting 40 minutes for a AKL bus to show up at DS to get back to hotel.
