<font color=green>Day 6...December 8th...Animal Kingdom
Friday...We all got up today around 8 and decided to go to Animal Kingdom...I had been dying to go here since I hadnâÂÂt been yet...I am so glad I went...I loved it...Andrew and Savannah really had a good time...They loved seeing all the animals...We went on the safari and walked right on to that ride...Andrew could not get over the Elephants...They were pretty close to us and he liked them best...Savannah just kept pointing to everything! We got off that and walked over to Asia so we could go on the Kali River Rapids...My parents watched Andrew and Savannah while the rest of us went on...We literally walked right on to it and got in the raft thing...I got SOAKED! I guess I was just in the right position and walked off it drenched!! I was fine until the waterfall at the end of the ride...that did me in! John got slightly wet and the girls got a little bit wet too, but nothing like me! I didnâÂÂt mind though...I loved the ride and it was worth it!! After that we caught the show to Tarzan Rocks! This was so cool! Now, I am a BIG Tarzan fan and love everything about the movie and Phil Collins is one of my favorite singers, so this combined, I was more excited than Andrew about seeing this!! I loved this show! I sat right there and sang along with all the songs! lol...It was a really good show! We ate at Tusker House for Lunch, which was really good...Andrew and Savannah both had the Kids Combo which was Mac and Cheese with a milk and cookie...DH and I had the Chicken Breast with Ham and Cheese...Laura and Jolene had the Grilled Chicken Salad and Holly had the Vegetable Sandwich...My parents also had the Chicken Breast Sandwich...I loved this place...I thought the food was excellent for Counter Service! I would definitely go back here! After we ate, we headed back to the room as Andrew and Savannah were getting tired...They both fell asleep as soon as we got there and woke up around 4 ready to go...I wanted to see the Osbourne Lights, so we decided to do that...The girls didnâÂÂt want to go, so they stayed in their room while my parents, John, Andrew, Savannah and myself went...I loved it...I had seen it the first year they put them up but it was nothing compared to what they have now! I was amazed! The snow on the street was just too cool! It even felt wet! I was just amazed with everything....I am so glad I took the time to see this...It is definitely something to see if you are there when they have it! We got a few snacks while there and just ate them as we walked through...When we got back to the room, we asked the girls where they wanted to eat tonight...they decided on Coral Reef because they thought it was cool when we went to the Living Seas attraction before...So that is what we did....I had never been to Coral Reef so this was exciting to me...I always wanted to eat here, but never did...We didnâÂÂt have any great table but the food was really good...DH and myself had the Sauteed Shrimp, which was devine! My mom had the Pan Seared Tuna, which I tasted and thought was dry, but hey what do I know I am no chef! LOL...My dad had the Halibut, but I wouldnâÂÂt try it just because it looked funny! That is just me though! The girls didnâÂÂt like anything that was on the Adult menu, so I asked if they could order off of the kids menu with the other two...Our waiter said that was fine and most people did that anyways! The girls had the Chicken Strips, Andrew had a Hot dog and I got Savannah the Pasta with sauce because she hadnâÂÂt really ate too much since her little sickness and I wanted to get something solid in her...She loves Pasta, so she went right to town on it...Everything was good, but I wouldnâÂÂt go back and DH agreed...While the food was good, the prices are high in my opinion for what you get...the portions were just to small for the amount of money paid...Maybe it is just me, but that is what I think...When we got done, we watched Illuminations and then headed back to the room... My parents went back to their room and John and I had the girls watch Andrew and Savannah while we went for a short walk around the grounds...It was beautiful out...80 degrees that night! We took a walk around to the different Islands and just took it all in! I was amazed at how beautiful everything is at night there! I was also surprised when the fireworks at Epcot started and we had an amazing view of them from where we were! I didnâÂÂt want the night to end, but eventually we went back to the room to find everyone sleeping! It was a perfect night!
