Bad weather/fastpass question

If a ride is closed down temporarily due to a thunderstorm during our fastpass time slot, will they honor it later in the day?

But yes, they will honor it later. And offer you the option of changing to something else.

If your ride goes down during your FP window, that FP automatically will change to be an open-ended FP good for the rest of the day at either that ride or a different ride (with restrictions). You should receive an email with details when this happens. That should not affect your ability to get additional FP at kiosks.

Here's what the email you'll get will look like

So you can go on the original FP'ed ride anytime for the rest of the day for one time use, or you can substitute it for any ride they give you on the email list. Note that not every ride is listed in the email, so you'll have to choose from the list. And if you do choose to substitute the downed ride for another ride, you can't go back later and ride the original ride if it comes back up.

Whichever your decision though, you don't need to do anything. Just scan your MB like usual at the FP entrance of the ride you select.

And for any reason if you don't get an email promptly or can't access your email in the park, you can ask a CM at the downed ride. The list of alternate rides is the same for everyone, so they'll be able to tell you what you can ride

yes.
and you will get an email letting you know that your FP+ attraction is currently down and that you can choose to ride it any time that day once its reopened or you can go to any other attraction they list to use your FP+.

this happened during my TT FP+.
we just waited a little while and it reopened and we went on using our FP+ no problem.
