Thank you so much. It was definitely a wonderful christmas being back with my family instead of having to work for the mouse (although I do miss it). I hope you had a very merry christmas too!Love following along on your adventures! Thanks for being such a faithful and entertaining trip report writer!!Have a wonderful Christmas with your family!

Last Moments In The Kingdom
After getting back on land from a fun journey under the sea we were in luck to see the ending of Wishes.
Make a wish, Wishes!
Dream a dream, wishes!
Since the Wishes mob was in full effect afterwards we made our way over to Philharmagic
Surprisingly it was quite dead and there were a few people just hanging out until the next show.
Then we found a dad who was making himself extra comfortable. But same
Hands down my favorite part is when they pump out the delicious smell during Be Our Guest.
After the show we headed over to Frontierland to ride the wildest ride in the wilderness!
The worst thing that could ever happen to me is getting stuck in the first row. I dislike it because the drops are so anticlimactic.
However it must have been a good ride because what I have in my notes is “death, scary, dumb, stuck together, good”
Since the night before we lost out on a ride around the jungle, tonight was the night for some puns.
Before getting on our “bote” Brittany always hopes for a guy skipper, she says that they are always more comedic and overall better. So when she saw that our skipper was in fact female she wasn’t expecting a funny journey ahead of us. But jokes on us because she was HILARIOUS! I wish I remembered more of her jokes but what I do remember is
When we got to the empty native village “No friends, its like my sixteenth birthday all over again, awkward”
pointing at the elephant facing away from the boat, bathing under a full moon
Then the best thing I have ever experienced was when we went under the 8th wonder of the world and she started singing and doing the fantasmic dance.
With time running out before the park closing we decided to head back to the other side of the park and finish with Brittany’s home away from home, space mountain. However we got caught up with the parade going by.
One thing I will say is that with the new addition of the hub there is so much room!
After the parade we made our way to Space mountain.
But even before getting there Brittany stopped in her tracks and said its down. She could see a group of Space CMs outside and said that use to be her all the time.
Since I had a Space mountain expert with me, she knew it wouldn’t be back up for the night. So instead I headed into the gift shop because Pa texted me during the trip asking for a space mountain pin. So I picked one up for him and we called it a night.
When we headed to Main Street we decided to get some sweets before we left. First we stopped at the ice cream parlor
Where Brittany got herself an birthday cake ice cream cone
Then she was the best for waiting in the longest line at the confectionary so I could get myself a vanilla cake pop
And with our delicious sweets we called it a night and a See Ya Real Soon Magic Kingdom until our next trip.

Honorary Cast Members
Today was the official last day of our Disney vacation and what better way then to sleep the morning away. Then to top it off that sad feeling of opening your door to the sad magical express notice hanging on your door.
No trip to the french quarter would be complete without some delicious beignets. Brittany and I split them and got a free bonus one.
We then headed to the pool where everyone was, clearly we all had the same idea before we performed at DTD later in the day. Brittany put in her headphones and slept in the sun, all I could hope for was that she sunscreened properly because a burnt Brittany is not all that pleasant to be around. I went straight for the pool because I get way to bored laying out.
Once everyone slowly leaving the pool area to get ready, I decided that it was probably a good idea to do the same thing. So I left Brittany to fry in the sun and headed back to the room.
I had to be in the lobby at 2, so by that time Brittany and I met in passing. She told me that when she was at DTD she was going to tell random guests that they should stop and watch her “daughter” dance.
When I ran out of the room and heard the door shut behind me I knew I forgot one thing…my magic band. So I called Brittany and she told me that she would have hers so I didn’t technically need mine. Far enough. I headed to the lobby and we waited around for the bus which seemed like forever.
When the bus came we all piled on and headed off to DTD. With the short bus ride there I played the role of the DJ for the back of the bus where we had a nice little sing along dance party
The performance arts building where we got dropped off was located across the street from DTD before the Team Disney building, or which in my CM days was called back of house. What I also noticed was that they finally added a nice little bus stop area for the CPs outside the cast service building which also included street lights.
Once arriving to the building we had a nice little chat with the CM who told us things like “We’re so happy to have you here” “You’re honorary CMs for the day”
Then we were taken into a big rehearsal room to warm up, run through the show and get ready for about an hour. We got back on the bus to go to Saratoga Springs where we got dropped off in the congress park section and we had to walk to DTD to the stage. The clouds were rolling in and Disney was kind enough to give us some umbrellas for the walk over.
Once arriving in DTD everyone was excited to be there and to dance while I was like DTD the memories!
We made it to the stage and it was show time!
My favorite thing had to be seeing a familiar face in guest show attire watching (when they should have been working) But then again I knew he was working & going to skip out because we talked about it the day before. Then I saw another former coworker who I wasn’t a fan of so she killed that mood. Overall it went well, nice and steamy.
Right after the performance Disney gets you out of there. So we picked up our stuff and headed back to Saratoga Springs. We were each given a small bottle of water when exiting the stage and headed towards the newly built bridge when a random family came up to the front of the group and asked to take a picture. I stayed out of that because thats weird.
And what I have come to hate, like clockwork that rainforest volcano went off and everyone stopped in their tracks. We kept moving and made it back to the bus.
We headed back to French Quarters and thats when I learned that Brittany was still at DTD because she forgot we were getting back on the bus.
For being honorary CMs we were each giving a pair of Mickey ears and the studio was given a Golden Mickey statue.
Everyone went there separate ways and I was a lost dog because Brittany was just getting on a boat back to the resort and I was magic band less. Thankfully there are a few people who let me tag along with them back to there room.
I realized how far away everyone was compared to where my room was located because Brittany texted me saying she was back at the room when I was on the other side of the resort.
So I headed back to my room and once I got there I made sure to let Brittany know all my mixed emotions about being back at DTD, seeing people I use to work with, and how no one at the studios understands the DCP depression. But seriously what I do without Brittany?!
We had to figure out what the plan for tonight was. The studio was having a pool party/pizza party at the resort but Brittany and I also discussed checking out Jellyrolls. I knew I needed to go to the cast party for a bit, Brittany seemed a little distant at first but so would I if I had to go to a party with people I hardly knew.
The pizza came and Michael talked us out of going to Jellyrolls, and instead we talked all night about disney things. Like how neither of them wanted to come with me to Japan, Disneyland and the diamond celebration, me moving into golden oaks, ect. Brittany seemed to finally be ok with being there and months later said “I wanna hang out with y’all and talk Disney”
We got kicked out of the pool at 11 and everyone seemed to go their own ways, which I guess was just to change out of their wet swimsuits. However I took it as no ones here I guess we can go back to our room, so I said my goodbyes and headed back to the room to pack up my life.
Brittany passed out when we got back, so it was a pretty solid final night in florida - party of one, having a me party!

One Adventure To Another
The day leaving Disney is always so awful, I woke up, checked my bags, got breakfast then got on the tragical express at 9am. Leaving your best friend in Disney sucks! She was spending the rest of the week with Joe in Florida, then flying out to Arizona for a week to visit a CP friend and go to Disneyland for the diamond celebration.
I successfully flew by myself for the first time and thanks to my layover in Atlanta I was able to reward myself with some Chick-fil-A.
From Atlanta I flew to Knoxville TN, which was about a 30-45 minute car ride to Pigeon Forge where my family was staying.
Although one vacation was ending, another one was just starting!
Family vacations are an annual thing we all look forward to doing. Growing up it was Disney one year, then the next year trying something different because as my mother would say “There are other places to go besides Disney” So this year we were traveling to the Smoky Mountains and staying in a nice luxurious 4 floor cabin. We’ve been to the smoky mountains twice before and stayed in the cabin once right before Alicia left for her DCP way back when.
The view however will always be one of my favorites.
Its so peaceful and calm, I just want to pick up my life and live in a cabin in the Smokys forever
Also on any family vacation, the more the merrier! I mean my family is already pretty big but Ma always tells us to invite friends. But once you come on one family vacation be expected to be invited on more. My aunt, her husband, my cousin Jackson, and Danielle’s friend Sara joined us this trip.
Day 1
I got to the cabin around dinner time so we had some good Disney talk over some tacos and planned Kiss’s 21st birthday celebration in 2016, which of course will be another Disney trip.
The smokey mountains are known for their bears. They are everywhere and I love it! Driving down the street “oh hey a bear! and cars lined up to take pictures” in the resort we were at outside our door “Hey bear, sorry I locked up our trash so you can't make a mess with it”
One of the nice things included with the cabin is down on the first floor is a cute little movie theater room. So tonight we had a wine tasting “party” and movie night.

Day 2
Todays big adventure was going white water rafting. I was quite terrified and feared about falling out of the boat.
Before heading out we were giving the safety spiel in this big warehouse looking place filled with all these different size rafts. If the safety spiel doesn’t freak you out I don’t know what will, they literally just tell you everything that could go possibly wrong. For example
-if you fall out and find yourself under the raft spider monkey across the bottom till you get out from underneath
-be careful with your paddle always have your hand on the end cause there is a possible chance of knocking out someones teeth in the rapids. (That happened to one of the guides a week prior)
-if someone is floating in the water after falling our and not from your raft save them anyways
After our safety chat we were given our tour guide, got our life vest, paddle and helmet, then all piled on the bus to take us up the river. There was two girls who were joining the tour who use to work as tour guides and came back. They were pretty much our “skippers” for the bus ride, joke after joke.
Then it was time to hit the rapids. Our tour guide, Ewok, put us from heaviest in the front to lightest in the back and off we went down the river.
I had a blast! It was so much fun. As we coasted down the river Ewok told us stories, jokes, had water fights with nearby rafts, and during the whole adventure we ended up saving 2 lost souls at sea (I was shocked when I wasn’t one of those who got flung from the raft because that is something that would happen to me)
After a long day on the river we were lazy back at the cabin for the rest of the night. We had a nice family dinner, which was actually every night
The drink of the night was bourbon slush while the adults played cards
Tonights also the night that I found out that my siblings are kind of bad at the game "Where in the world/Disney am I"
Day 3
Todays adventure was another round of floating down a river, but this time it was more like a lazy river.
It was a 2 hour non-laziest river I have ever experienced. At some points of the river (most the little rapids) were low so we would get stuck on rocks and had to just walk the rapids instead. However some spots were deep, Kiss thought he would be able to stand and he disappeared under the water.
But I mean 2 hours of fun in the sun, sign me up!
At the end we had to wait for a bus to pick us up to take us back up the river.
At night the children decided to go explore Gatlinburg. We were in-between 2 “tourist traps” Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Pigeon forge is a long strip (maybe 4 miles?) with so much to do and Gatlinburg is just a cute little town where you can park your car and walk around.
Trip advisor is HUGE here, its actual kind of crazy. So with reading up on some reviews we decided to check out the glow in the dark 3D mini golf
Walking inside it felt like some episode of criminal minds and at some point I’m going to find a dead body.
Luckily that wasn’t the case. After that scary moment passed, we did what we do best and took obnoxious photos instead of actually caring about the game
With a quick stop at starbs we then headed to the last activity of the night, the mountain coaster.
They have a lot of these around each strip, we chose this one because they light it up at night.
I thought it was going to be some silly little ride that wasn’t worth the money. I was wrong, you are chain lifted up the mountain then its free falling down a mountain with twist, turns and dips. You pick up some really good speed and I feared for my life a couple times going around turns.

Day 4
Today was our last full day in Tennessee so what better way to spend it than at Dollywood. We’ve been to Dollywood 2 times prior to this trip and with that being said me and Kiss were the only ones who went.
I have 4 main reasons I go to Dollywood, Mystery Mine, Wild Eagle, Dreamland Drive In and Taffy.
Mystery Mine, the mine ride I only wished Disney would have made. Its so much better and I only had to wait 5 minutes during the entire day.
Wild Eagle is if not the smoothest rollercoaster I have ever been on
Then one of the best shows I have every seen
“Dreamland Drive-In captivates audiences with its musical trip down memory lane. Hits of the 50s and 60s come alive”
Overview: Its about a group of high school friends that hang out at the diner, one runs a radio show there, they go through high school graduation, college graduation, relationships, breakups, then the diner closes.
Time goes by so slowly and time can do so much. Are you still mine?
Do you wanna dance under the moonlight, hold me all through the night, oh baby do you wanna dance?
The girl thats driving me mad is going away. She’s got a ticket to ride and she don’t care
Do you love now that I can dance?
When I want you in my arms, when I want you and all your charms, whenever I want you all I’ll have to do is dream
why she had to go I don’t know she wouldn't say. I said something wrong now I long for yesterday
We spent about half the day at Dollywood before we left, without taffy might I add because they were all out of the good flavors. Once getting back to the cabin it was officially time to start packing up. After completing most of the packing, our prize was going out to explore Pigeon Forge.
We found ourselves at an old fashion photo studio. First off I have no clue how to be serious, so props to our photographer Matt who dealt with me. He was the best.
Also they have signs all over saying “no picture taking on phones” But I’m a rebel and they can’t catch you in the dressing room.
We headed back to the cabin with some sonic and decided we couldn’t leave until we finished the puzzle.
Day 5
We packed up the cars and took one last look out over the mountains before we piled in and drove the 12 hours back home. 12 straight hours in a car was filled with me sleeping, eating and keeping up with the D23 expo.
Overall it was a great vacation and I’m glad I got stuck with the crazy loving family I have.
Today was our last full day in Tennessee so what better way to spend it than at Dollywood. We’ve been to Dollywood 2 times prior to this trip and with that being said me and Kiss were the only ones who went.
I have 4 main reasons I go to Dollywood, Mystery Mine, Wild Eagle, Dreamland Drive In and Taffy.
Mystery Mine, the mine ride I only wished Disney would have made. Its so much better and I only had to wait 5 minutes during the entire day.
Wild Eagle is if not the smoothest rollercoaster I have ever been on
Then one of the best shows I have every seen

Overview: Its about a group of high school friends that hang out at the diner, one runs a radio show there, they go through high school graduation, college graduation, relationships, breakups, then the diner closes.

We spent about half the day at Dollywood before we left, without taffy might I add because they were all out of the good flavors. Once getting back to the cabin it was officially time to start packing up. After completing most of the packing, our prize was going out to explore Pigeon Forge.
We found ourselves at an old fashion photo studio. First off I have no clue how to be serious, so props to our photographer Matt who dealt with me. He was the best.
Also they have signs all over saying “no picture taking on phones” But I’m a rebel and they can’t catch you in the dressing room.
We headed back to the cabin with some sonic and decided we couldn’t leave until we finished the puzzle.
Day 5
We packed up the cars and took one last look out over the mountains before we piled in and drove the 12 hours back home. 12 straight hours in a car was filled with me sleeping, eating and keeping up with the D23 expo.
Overall it was a great vacation and I’m glad I got stuck with the crazy loving family I have.

A four floor cabin!! How freaking cool!! 
That's awesome you got to go on another vacation right from Disney! Pigeon forge is on my bucket list. Would love to visit there and also see Dollywood. I bet the area is beautiful!! You are very lucky to have such a fun loving family.

If my in-laws didn't live right there I would so live in that area of Tennessee.

I grew up growing to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge every year (lived in West TN growing up, Knoxville for college, and now Middle TN), and still to this day I haven't been to Dollywood. Maybe it's time to check it out!

After this trip to WDW I was positive that the next time I would be visiting again would be after Tokyo when Alicia was back home. Well I proved myself wrong and headed down for a little early christmas celebration, but mostly to see those Osborne lights one last time!

Aaaaand finished this one too! Bahaha. I absolutely love reading your tr's esp now that we've both gone through that whole living at disney and having to return to real life! I REALLY wish I didn't have to, I'd so much rather still be there, and the only thing holding me back is a stupid work visa! Arg! Lol.
