I haven't seen an April thread yet and since we just changed from March to April, I decided to start one. If there is one already, I'll delete this one!

Post your dates and hotel (if you want) and I'll get a list going!

We're heading down for a belated 45th birthday celebration for me, this will be our 10th trip as a family and we are staying at the DLH.

I've started a post with the upcoming or ongoing closures during April, the post will be updated as more information is announced.

Doing my first solo trip (April 13-17), my Disney buddy (DD15) will be on a school sponsored Europe trip at this time. Staying at hotel across Harbor Blvd. Looking forward to spending Easter at Disney and hoping that I won't miss DD too much!

What a coincidence that the first two people to reply are both going the exact same days! We are arriving the day you both leave.

We keep going back and forth with hotels but we are going during the Dapper Days so were able to get the DLH for under $250/night. Since this is technically my 45th b-day trip, we decided to just go for it! I actually would have preferred the PPH but it was not one of the options through the Dapper Day site. The PVI was only $64/night less than DLH for the same dates and the best rate I could find going through the Disneyland website for the same dates was an eye-watering $535/night!

We just booked April 1-7, all offsite staying in Seal Beach. Can't wait!!! We'll do 3 beach days and 4 Disney days not sure which; it'll be dependent on the weather.

Of course you count! I would love to try a solo trip but doubt I could ever leave DH and DS at home, especially with the costs involved in flying down from Canada. But a girl can dream...

I never thought that I would be doing a solo trip so soon since DD and I always travel to DL together. But since she is on her school trip and I had some Alaska Airline points, it seemed like a perfect opportunity to visit. I am flying from Alberta and I totally understand what you mean about the costs involved in flying from Canada!

We are coming from CT for our Spring Break and doing a SO Cal trip. Staying in Anaheim at the Courtyard Main Gate from April 11-15. Myself and my daughter and my niece are going to go to DL/DCA for one day either the 12th or the 14th. The boys are going to Magic Mountain. We will be there for RD and trying to pack it all in since my niece has never been.

We were originally planning on heading down in March for my birthday but when I did the math and realized that not only could I get a great rate for the DLH but I could get 3 flights YYJ-SNA return for under $1000 CAD, I told DH that we were going in April!

I never thought that I would be doing a solo trip so soon since DD and I always travel to DL together. I am flying from Alberta and I totally understand what you mean about the costs involved in flying from Canada!

Ugh, flying anywhere from Victoria is ridiculous and taking the ferry to Seattle adds an extra $200 round trip plus it is a 90 minute ferry, 2.5 hour drive to Seatac and you have to get to the ferry 60-90 minutes early! We have done the trip a number of different ways, flying YYJ-SNA, taking the passenger only ferry to Seattle, taking the Vancouver ferry and driving to Seatac and taking the Port Angeles ferry and they all suck for different reasons but it is the price we pay for living in Canadian paradise here in Vancouver Island!
