Any COUPLES who are Disney Fans!?

My girlfriend and I are fans! Me more so than her, I think, but we're planning our first trip to WDW together for later this year. She's my Prince Charming <3

DW and I go almost every year now. We always feel like kids when we walk into MK and see the castle again.

Gosh, I've been neglecting this site for too long!

This week my fiance and I officially decided that our honeymoon will start with five days at Disney, then we are going to head out on a cruise. Me being me, I'm freaking out about the cost. Him being him, he doesn't have a worry in the world, lol. But we are going to be booking Disney very, very soon, with the help of a friend. Hoping to stay at Port Orleans Riverside.

We have been back for almost two months now and he has yet to allow me to book back up... I may have to leave this thread and join the one for single peeps soon.

I kid of course, we have to wait till 2018 dates are announced to book up for that year but I cannot wait! We are both huge Disney fans but I hate that he is so sensible and won't just let me book haha :')

Count us among the coupled Disney freaks! We've been going to WDW for seven years now, plus trips to Disneyland Paris, Disneyland, three Disney cruises and we're now Disney Vacation Club members. We've been together 9 years.

We got engaged at Magic Kingdom back in May and will be back again in September to meet up with friends from the UK we met on our first Disney Magic cruise.

We have looked into getting married at Disney, but it's soooooo expensive. Might just end up honeymooning there instead. :earboy2:

My Fiance and I are Huge Disney Fans. We are SSR owners and I proposed to him at WDW this last trip around. I can't get enough of telling this story, so I'll tell it again. :)

We were staying in a one bedroom at OKW. My parents flew and on the day of my proposal, I had scheduled for us to change hotels. We moved over to the Grand Villa at VGF. Once we were in the room, we took a short break and then at 4pm, I rushed him off to a "Mens only massage" at Senses spa. While he was having the spa experience, I came back down with the clothes I wanted him to wear (the staff there knew what was going on). They made sure he put on the clothes I had set aside for him. We then went and met our private butler in the lobby of the Grand Floridian. He escorted us to a private 3rd floor balcony where there was a table for two. At that point, the chef came and asked us for our food alergies and aversions. Then he went down and prepared our meals. We had an amazing five course meal. In the middle of the meal, the fireworks at MK started going off and at that point, my parents walked out on the balcony and that's when I proposed. He was in tears. It was such an amazing experience.

We have another 5 day trip in the planning for September (staying at BLT) and another 17 day trip in the planning for January 2017 (anyone else going during either of these times should drop us a line)!!!

We live on the North Side of Chicago. Always up for meeting new couples and of course, finding a couple that would enjoy doing Disney with us.

Look forward to hearing all your stories as well!

What an amazing proposal! It sounds so incredibly romantic. I am planning to propose to my girlfriend at Disney in just 20! days-- and I couldn't help but comment because we live on the north side of Chicago too! We are about two blocks from Wrigley (in Boystown!) Hello, fellow Disney-fan and Chicago dweller!

My future wife and I are both Disney nuts! We just bought our first APs! We live about 1.5hrs north of Orlando, so we hope to go more often now since it will be cheaper overall with the passes. Anyone want to meet up? We are late 20's/early 30s, like having drinks at Epcot, love behind the scenes trivia, love all the parks.

I love Disney, but my husband doesn't really care either way. Is there a space for couples like that? I'm all for taking trips to the parks with friends but I would love it if my husband enjoyed it as much as me. He just doesn't have the nostalgia and emotional connection to the parks like I do since he didn't grow up in the states.

Just throwing it out there that I'm always up for a Disney trip.

My wife and I love Disney! She introduced me to the World 10 years ago, after several years of scathing remarks about how I was way too cool for that kind of holiday. Of course I ended up totally eating my words, skipping around the parks, and feeling so unbelievable happy! It is now the place we go for amazing holidays, but it also has the power to lift us up when we are going through dark times. I am always amazed that Disney (and Universal too, sorry!) have this ability.
We are from Scotland in the UK so cannot visit nearly as much as I would like. And now that we are expecting twins really soon it will most likely be a few years until we can get back. But at least I have the boards and the podcast!

Big fans here visit at least every 2 years - more if possible. Next planned trip is about a year from now but trying to figure out how to squeeze another one trip in before then :)

The hubby and I have been going to WDW for over ten years now. We have a DVC (home resort is the Polly) and will most likely being getting anuual passes this year.
Our next trip is coming up in October and we both signed up to do the Star Wars 10k in April

Just a plug for our Meetup thread since I see a lot of people here who are going to be on property in coming months. I started a thread for people who were going and interested in meeting up, and the first post has a running list of who's going and when. If you're interested in being included in that list, send me a PM and I'll add you!

Hi guys, I read the boards a lot, but don't post that often!

My Partner (Greg) and I have been going to Disney World together for the last nine years... we didn't know about each others love for Disney until we'd been together a while, but it's the best and worst thing in the world - the best, as we both totally "get it", but the worst thing as we both absolutely feed each others Disney habit!

We'll be staying at Saratoga Springs with three friends from 18th September to 2nd October. 15 days and counting!

I wish I had that problem! LOL. There is probably nothing I could do or say that could get my partner to go back to WDW with me, so I am going alone in October. But he does support my Disney habit. I just got the Mickey Self-Portrait figurine and he thought it was great. On the other hand, getting him to sit down and watch a Disney animated film is like pulling teeth.....

My hubby was forced to love Disney - now he gets excited to plan trips with me...you guys are too nice with the "asking" :p.

My husband and I both grew up at Disneyland, but we've made one previous trip to the World. We haven't gone to Disneyland in several years due to the totally out-of-control AA problem, so I was able to get him on board with our upcoming WDW trip with another couple. Can't wait!
