A Whole New World, A Whole New Life! -- A Jan-Feb-Mar 2015 TR -- *COMPLETED* 9/29

Alright, so the next three days were pretty uneventful, so I'm just going to roll them all up into one update. We spent these days catching up on / doing some extra school and work, hanging out around the campgrounds, and going shopping and preparing for when the rest of our family was coming down. We chose not to go to the parks on these days so that we could focus on those things. We did do a lot of fun stuff around Fort Wilderness, though, like swimming, going for walks, playing tennis, and some of the other activities they have. On one of the nights we went down to the campfire sing-a-long to make s'mores, and on the 23rd, which was a Friday, we watched Monsters University on the big screen. It was pretty cold still, but we bundled up and brought blankets. Also on the 23rd, our brother Nathan and his wife Ginger arrived. They were staying at Pop Century, and their flight got in late, so we didn't see them until the next day. We had plans to go to Hollywood Studios together! The rest of our family would be arriving in the next few days, also!

I'm loving your tr. Meeting Gaston is on my list of must dos when we go next time. I homeschool my children and love the flexibility it offers. It is such a blessing your dad can work from home to give you such a great experience. Can't wait to read more!
Lindsey
Thank you! Waiting to meet Gaston is definitely worth it, in my opinion. Homeschooling is so great, and without that and Dad working from home, none of this would have been possible!

How awesome that you can just pop into the MK to do one ride or meet Gaston!! I love your story about the little girl and Gaston proposing. So sweet. You got some good pics with him too!
I know! That was one of the things that we loved the most.

We woke up this morning bright and early to meet Nathan and Ginger at Hollywood Studios! They opened at 8:00, and we wanted to be there early so we could get on Toy Story Mania since we didn't have a Fast Pass. We were ready to go and at the main bus stop a little before 6:00. By some stroke of luck a bus ended up coming almost right away. We were the only ones at the bus stop, so we had a private bus ride over to Hollywood. We got there around 6:05, and as we got off the bus and started walking toward the entrance, we realized that there was NOBODY else there. Besides the cast members, we were literally the first people there. It was actually pretty cool! It was still really dark outside, and the gates were still down in front of the entrance.

As you can probably tell from the picture, the weather wasn't great. It was really raw and windy, and it was drizzling a little bit. We didn't mind too much, though! After strolling around the empty courtyard for a bit, more people started showing up, so we picked a scanner to start a line at. I'm not sure we've ever been in the front of a line to get into a park, and it was really great! We settled in for the hour+ wait until the park opened, and I took some pictures.

Nathan and Ginger ended up getting there about 15-20 minutes before opening, and we had a nice little reunion with them. They let us in about 5 minutes before 8:00, and we were off to TSM! We were rushing along with everyone else, but as we approached the entrance to the ride, we started hearing the groans of the people and the shouts of the cast members that Toy Story Mania was closed due to technical difficulties. We were SO bummed! We got to the park over an hour and a half early for nothing! This was the second time this had happened to us, and we were just so done. There was nothing we could do, though, so we decided to head over to Tower of Terror instead. Everyone rode except for me and Travis.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3663%3B%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3A44335%3B347nu0mrj

We waited in the shops for about 20 minutes while they rode, then we headed to Rock N Rollercoaster. Dad and I waited in the store while they rode, which took about 15 minutes.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3338%3B%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3A443358347nu0mrj

After they got off we checked the Disney app to see if Toy Story was open yet, but it was still closed, so we decided to do Star Tours. The wait was only about 15 minutes, and we had a pretty good sequence. We checked the app once again when we got off, and TSM was open! We rushed on over there and got in line. It ended up being a 30-45 minute wait, which wasn't bad at all. We had a super fun time, but no new high scores were achieved. We're pretty competitive people, so anything that involves keeping score is an immediate competition.

After Toy Story, it was about 10:00, and we didn't really know what to do. We just decided to go over and watch Muppet Vision, which had about a 10 minute wait until the next show. After that we went back over to the Great Movie Ride, which also had a pretty short wait. When we got off of that, it was around 11:00. We had planned on going home for lunch, and we had done everything we wanted to do, so we decided to head home now. Nathan and Ginger went back to Pop Century and we headed back to the Fort. The weather had cleared up at this point, and it was turning into a fairly nice day. We waited about 15 minutes for our bus, and we were on our way home. We got back to the RV around 11:30, and we ate lunch and just hung out until about 12:00. At that time we got ready to go meet Nathan and Ginger at the Magic Kingdom! We left for the boat around 12:15.

That is such a bummer about TSM being down in the morning! At least you did get to ride after all...but too bad about the wait. Sounds like you still managed to get quite a lot done in a morning though!

We got to the boat dock around 12:30, and a boat came within 15-20 minutes. We were on our way to the Magic Kingdom!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3497%3A%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3A3%3A387%3B347nu0mrj

We arrived around 1:00, and as soon as we got off the boat we called Nathan to see where they were. They were still on the bus, but they were almost there, so we went through bag check and waited for them at the front. They got there in about 10 minutes, and after they went through bag check we headed inside! We decided to head over to Fantasyland first, so we made our way over there. After checking a few wait times, we decided to head to the circus and ride Dumbo!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3556%3B%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3A3%3A9849347nu0mrj

We only waited about 15 minutes, and we had a lot of fun! We like to try and get our Dumbos to bounce really fast, and Nathan is really good at it. After Dumbo we decided to ride Barnstormer because it only had a 15 minute wait and it was right there. I still don't really know why we seem to ride that one so much since we're all "big kids", but we just have fun on it, I guess. After Barnstormer we looked around the Big Top store for a while before heading out of the circus. We walked over towards the teacups and saw that the wait was 20 minutes, so we decided to ride. I went with Sam and Travis, and we like to spin, so we got going pretty fast. Nathan and Ginger went together and so did Mom and Dad, but they took it a little more slow. After the teacups, we checked some more wait times and decided to do Pooh Bear. The wait was bout 20 minutes, which wasn't bad. We had a good ride, then after that we went to check some other Fantasyland wait times. We went over towards Peter Pan first, but that wait was almost an hour. Small World was only a 20 minute wait, so we did that.
The crowd levels this afternoon were pretty moderate; the big attracts had waits between 30-60 minutes, and the rest of the rides were around 15-20. After Small World we rode the Carousel, which we only waited about 10 minutes for. We all got to ride big horses, so that was nice. After our ride on the carousel, we headed into New Fantasyland to ride Ariel. I know the ride is really called Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, but we just usually call it the Ariel ride to make it easier. We stopped to have a snack first, then we hopped in line. The wait was only about 10-15 minutes, and we had a nice ride.

After Ariel we started making our way over to Tomorrowland. We had Buzz Lightyear FastPasses from 4:00-5:00, and it was just now about 4:00. We decided to ride the Speedway first, though, which had about a 20 minute wait. Most of went by ourselves because we all like to drive, but Mom and Dad went together. After the Speedway we headed over to Buzz to se our FP's. The line only took about 5 minutes, and we had a really fun ride!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv36%3B35%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3A443352347nu0mrj

When we got off we saw that the stand-by line was only 20 minutes, so we decided to ride again!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv393%3A8%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3A44334%3B347nu0mrj

After our second ride it was about 5:00, which is when our Space Mountain FastPasses were good! So, we headed over there to use them. The FP line took about 10-15 minutes, which is pretty typical. Since there are 7 of us and 6 seats in a rocket, we split up into a group of 3 and a group of 4. Space Mountain is one of Ginger's favorite rides, so we had a lot of fun!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3C666%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3A3%3A9846347nu0mrj

When we got off Space Mountain, we decided now would be a good time to eat dinner, so we headed over to Cosmic Rays to get something. It wasn't too crowded in there, but there were still lines at the counters. By the time we all decided what we wanted, waited in line, ordered, and got our food, it was about 5:30. We found a couple of tables to sit at and we ate! Mom and I shared the half a chicken, Dad and Sam shared the half chicken and half rack of ribs, and I'm not sure what everyone else got.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv38454%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3A3%3A3875347nu0mrj

Everyone enjoyed their food, and while we ate we talked about what we should do next. We decided to head over to Adventureland once we were done. So, after we finished eating we started making our way over there. We rode the Magic Carpets first, which we waited about 10-15 minutes for. After that we did Pirates, which had a 20 minute wait.
When we got off of Pirates, someone mentioned that the app said Splash Mountain was open. It had been closed for refurbishment, but it wasn't scheduled to reopen for another few days. Apparently it reopened early, though, because when we went over to check it out it was open! Because we usually come in January and that's when they usually do maintenance on Splash, we hadn't ridden it in a few years, and we were so excited! It was not by any means warm on this night, but we didn't care. Mom was the only one who stayed out, so she held all of our stuff for us. We got in line and pretty much walked right on. We weren't sure if the lack of people was due to the cold, people not knowing it was open, or maybe both, but we didn't care! It was Travis' first time riding, so he was a little nervous, but he ended up loving it! We ended up riding it 3 times in a row, and it was a walk-on all 3 times. Nobody got really wet except for Dad, who got pretty soaked on our last ride. It didn't bother him too much, though, and he said it was worth it to ride. It was right around 7:45 at this point, and we had Big Thunder FastPasses for 8:00, so we just hung out in the Splash Mountain store until they were ready. We went over to the ride a few minutes early and our passes worked, so we got right in. Wishes was at 8:00 on this night, so we got to see the fireworks from the ride! This was just one of the many locations we would watch Wishes from, and it was definitely one of my favorites.
After our ride we stopped near the exit to watch the rest of the fireworks, then we moved on. We took the bridge and headed towards Liberty Square. Haunted Mansion had a 20 minute wait, so we rode that. It was around 8:30 at this point, and we were pretty tired from being up so early that morning, so we decided to call it a night. We headed to towards the exit, stopping in the Emporium on our way out to look around, then made our way out of the park. Nathan and Ginger went to the bus stop and we went to the boat dock. A boat came for us within 10-15 minutes, and we were on our way home. We got back to the Fort and waked home from there. We pretty much just got ready and went to bed once we got home. More family was getting in tomorrow, and we had plans to go see them at their resort!

It was a bummer! We were glad we got to ride though, and the wait wasn't too bad.

I love that you got to DHS so early! Too bad about TSM not working though. I'm a little jealous you got to see fireworks from BTM. The last couple of times we've tried that the ride was down.

In curious to see which resort you visit next.

I'm caught up!
I love the rainy early morning pics at DHS but what a let down that TSMM was down! Ugh!!
Still love hearing about this epic trip!! :-):-)

We slept in this morning and took it slow. Our brother Scott and his family were getting in around noon today, and we were going to go and meet them at their resort which was Pop Century. So, we spent the morning hanging out, straightening things up in the RV, and getting ready. We ate lunch around 11:45, then at about 12:15 we got all of our stuff together and left! We decided that the easiest way to get there would be to take the boat to Magic Kingdom and catch a bus from there to Pop Century. So, we made our way down to the boat dock to wait for our ride. One came in about 10 minutes, and we were on our way. We got to the Magic Kingdom, but we didn't go inside, which was weird. We headed straight for the bus stop instead. We waited at the Pop Century bus stop for about 15 minutes, but no bus came. An Art of Animation bus did come, though, and we knew that you could walk from AOA to Pop, so we decided to hop on that bus. We got to Art of Animation around 1:15.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv37472%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3B62427%3B347nu0mrj

Once we got there we called Scott to see where they were, and he told us that they had already checked in and were in their room. So, we made our way over to Pop Century, which was about a 10 minute walk.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3C782%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3B624283347nu0mrj

Their room was in the 50's section, which isn't too far from the main lobby. We had a little trouble finding them, but we eventually made it to their room! They let us in and we had a nice time reuniting and hugging and catching up. James and Maddie were super stoked to finally be in Disney World after having talked about it for so long. After talking for a few minutes, the kids said they were hungry so we set out to the food court. Scott and Sarah booked the Stay Play and Dine package, so they had the meal plan, which was great for them.
We got to the food court, and after looking around for a few minutes, Maddie decided she wanted a Rice Krispies treat and James picked a Minnie Mouse cookie.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3A6%3A3%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3B624285347nu0mrj

With treats in hand, we were off again to go check out Art of Animation! We walked through the Finding Nemo area first, and the kids were totally blown away by all the characters! They loved seeing Crush, Squirt, Dory, Nemo, and all the other fish. We stopped for a while so they could play on the little playground.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3B662%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3B624286347nu0mrj

After that we moved on to Radiator Springs, which was what they were most excited about! They could not wait to see Lightning McQueen and all his friends. We spent some time going around and looking at everything, and the kids wanted pictures with all of the cars.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3B768%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3B624287347nu0mrj

(You might notice that James' lips look a little funny. The icing on his Minnie Mouse cookie turned his whole mouth black!)

They seriously had a blast going over to check out each car, and we had a blast watching them! Once we were done in Radiator Springs, we decided to go and check out the Lion King section! We had never been over to this area before, and it was really cool! I jut love all of the larger than life characters.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3A488%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3B%3A66973347nu0mrj

At this point the kids were getting tires of walking, so we decided to head back over to Pop Century. We got back to their room around 3:00 and we all got some water. The weather was fairly warm that day, and the sun was out so it was really nice. We had plans to go to Downtown Disney for dinner, so we got ready to go! Scott got their stroller all ready, and we were off to the bus stop! We waited about 15 minutes for a bus, then we were on our way.
We got to Downtown Disney around 3:45, and the first thing we did was go into the Christmas store. We spent quite some time in there looking around, and Scott and Sarah ended up getting an ornament. After that we went into the kitchen store and looked around for a while. We hadn't been in there yet, but they had some pretty great stuff! We also spent quite some time in there looking at all the different dishes and kitchen gadgets. Uncle Travis was helping to keep the kids occupied.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3388%3A%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3B%3A6697%3B347nu0mrj

Nobody ended up buying anything, so we moved on. We headed over to the pin store to look around. James and Maddie both had pins to trade, so they were looking for their first traders! James made his first trade with one of ladies working, and he was so excited! Maddie was a little more apprehensive about trading with the cast members, so Sarah traded a pin for her. After pin trading, we decided it was time to tackle World of Disney! That store can be SO overwhelming, but it wasn't too bad this evening. We spent some time just browsing through the different areas, but nobody ended up buying anything. It was approaching 5:00 at this point, and everyone was hungry, so we decided to go eat! We headed over Wolfgang Puck Express, which is where we had planned on eating.
Nathan and Ginger had spent the day at Animal Kingdom and were supposed to meet us there. They showed up within a few minutes and we all went inside to order our food. If you've never been to Wolfgang Puck Express, I would absolutely recommend it! The food there is SO good. Everyone ordered and we all went to find tables to sit at. At this restaurant you order your food at the counter, but a waiter brings it to you. So it's sort of a cross between a table service and a counter service. The food came out quickly and we all dug in!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv33%3B68%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3B%3A66985347nu0mrj

(In Maddie's case literally.)
Mom and I shared the cheese pizza, which was really good. It had a thin crust, so it was a nice change from regular Disney pizza.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv37267%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3B%3A66987347nu0mrj

James, Maddie, Travis, and Ginger all got the macaroni and cheese, which is one of the best things on the menu in my opinion. Dad and Scott got the bacon wrapped meatloaf, which is also a solid choice. I don't remember what everyone else got, but everyone ended up enjoying their meals.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3C5%3B%3B%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3B%3A66984347nu0mrj

After dinner we all split up. Scott and his clan went back to their hotel so they could get to bed early, Mom and Dad went back to the RV, and the rest of us decided to go to Disney Quest. I gave Dad the camera to take home, so I don't have any pictures from the night, but we had a lot of fun! We did the Pirates of the Caribbean virtual game, the virtual roller coaster, Mighty Ducks Pinball, and a bunch of the small games. We had a great time, and we ended up getting home around 9:00. We went to bed around 10:00 with plans of going back to Pop Century the next day to see the rest of our family when they arrived!

Another fun day!! It must be so nice to really know your way around - almost all of Disney it seems. Like I would never have known to just hop on a bus to AOA and that you could just walk to Pop from there...good to know for future!! That pizza looked delish and so did the mac and cheese.

Yeah, it sure was a bummer! Thank you for reading!

Yeah, we've learned a few things in our many years of Disney-ing. We found out that AoA and Pop were connected when we stayed at Pop Century last year.

Hello everyone who is still reading! I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to update as often as I wanted to, life has been unexpectedly busy since we've gotten back. I'm hoping to get a lot more updates out in the upcoming days, but I can't make any promises. I will promise that I will update as often as I possibly can! Thank you so much if you're still out there reading!

We're still your fans! Great trip report! Looking forward to reading more when you can get to it.

We got up this morning around 9:00 to get ready to go back to Pop Century to see the rest of our family! Our sister Lindsey and her family were getting in around 11:30, and we wanted to be there to greet them. So, we got all ready and left around 10:20. We decided to just drive to Pop Century this time because we really didn't feel like taking the boat and the bus again. So, we hopped in the truck and let GPS guide us to the resort. It only took about 10-15 minutes to get there, so it wasn't too far. We realized that we had actually probably gotten there a little too early, since they weren't going to arrive for another hour or so, but there wasn't much we could do about it now. We went inside to where the lobby is and looked around he store for a while. After checking out pretty much everything in the store and looking around the food court and the rest of lobby, we decided to go sit outside. We found a nice table by the pool to sit at, so we just hung out there for a while.

They have a ping-pong table set up by the pool and you can buy a ball for 25 cents, so we played ping-pong for a while, too. It was super windy though, so it didn't really work out very well. It was getting closer to 11:30 now, so we decided to go back up to the front to wait for them. We sat out front for a while, and we saw a couple of Magical Express buses come by, but they weren't on either of them. We were getting pretty bored at this point, but we were so excited to see them! Sure enough right around 11:30 another bus pulled up and they were on it! They were near the back of the bus though, so they were close to the last ones off. Lindsey got off first with Emma, then Jack and Max came off behind her and they were so excited to see us! Jack pretty much jumped into my arms screaming, "I missed you so much!"

Max ran up and gave Travis a great big hug, then everyone got hugs, and it was all just really sweet. We probably see Lindsey's family the most back home, at least once or twice a week, so the kids had really missed seeing us. Adam came off the bus with all of their carry-on bags, and he got in on the hug fest too. After we were all done with our little reunion, they had to get checked in so we headed inside. Adam took care of the checking in while the rest of us took the kids over to the little waiting area.

It's nice because they have a couple of games the kids can play and a TV that plays Disney Junior shows. The kids were having lots of fun, and they were so excited to be in Disney World!

Before long Adam had them all checked in and ready to go. Their room was ready, which was nice, so we headed over to the 70's area, which is where they would be staying. On the way there the kids checked out the giant Baloo and Mowgli, which they thought was the coolest thing. We also saw the Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head on our way.

We found their room without too much trouble and headed inside. They kids were super excited to check everything out.

By the time they got some of their stuff put away it was a little after 12:00, so we decided to go eat lunch! Lindsey and Adam did not have the meal plan, so they had brought some food and were planning on buying some meals.
We headed out of the room and over to the food court. We found a couple of tables to sit at and eat. We brought sandwiches, so we ate those, Lindsey brought some food for the kids to eat, and Adam went to buy something for the two of them.

It took Adam a while to get their food, so it was close to 1:00 by the time we were all done eating. Once we were done, the kids hopped in their stroller and we headed over to Art of Animation! Cars is one of Jack and Max's favorite movies, so they were very excited to go see Radiator Springs! We passed through the Nemo area first, and the kids loved that. We stopped at the little playground for a while.

They had tons of fun climbing and playing, then we headed over to see Lightning McQueen! Jack was just thrilled to see all of his favorite cars in life size. He was so excited to see each one, and it was just so precious to watch. Max loved them too, but he wasn't quite as excited as his brother.

While we were checking out the cars, Dad had taken the truck back to Fort Wilderness. We had plans of going to Epcot, and we didn't want to have to take the truck, so he just drove it home and was going to meet us at the park later.
After we had seen everyone in Radiator Springs, it was time to say our goodbyes for now. Lindsey and Adam were heading back to their room and we were heading over to Epcot, so we parted ways. The kids were sad that we were leaving, but we would be seeing hem the next day! We headed over to the bus stop and got there around 1:40. A bus came within 10-15 minutes, and we were on our way to Epcot to meet up with Nathan and Ginger!

That's so awesome that you have different family and friends keep coming to visit you during your long stay at WDW!! So much fun!!

We got to EPCOT a little after 2:00. As soon as we got there we called Nathan to find out where he and Ginger were. They were in the World Showcase around Mexico, so we headed over there to meet up. When we were all together we decided that we wanted to see the 3:00 Chinese acrobat show, so we headed over to China to wait. Because it was extremely windy today, the show was being held inside of the China pavilion in the waiting area for Reflections of China. We still had about half an hour until the show, so we just hung out in there while we waited. We checked out the different displays and stuff they have in there, which we hadn't really done before. They have some pretty cool stuff in there!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv39552%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3B%3A732%3B6347nu0mrj

We got our seats about 10 minutes before the show. Seeing the show inside was nice because there are benches to sit on, but the lighting is pretty terrible so I wasn't able to get any good photos. The show was amazing as usual, and they even did an act we had never seen before. They weren't able to do a part where one of the acrobats flips up in the air and does tricks because we were inside, so instead they did some pretty awesome things with sombreros. They juggled them and flipped them up and did a bunch of cool things with them.
After the show was over, we headed out of China. It was close to 3:30 now, and we wanted to catch the Japanese drummers at 3:45, so we made our way over there! We got there with a few minutes to spare, so we waited around the courtyard until they came out. They are super talented and it's amazing how perfectly in sync they are.

We watched stayed and watched the whole performance, but about halfway through a couple of us went to look in the shop. They finished at 4:00, and we moved on. We made our way back to Future World through the rest of the countries, but we didn't really stop in any of them. We got back to Future World and went to use FastPasses we had for Spaceship Earth!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv368%3A5%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3A%3B%3A863%3C4347nu0mrj

We used our Spaceship Earth FP's at the end of the time slot, so by the time we got off our next FP was ready, which was for Soarin'! So, we headed over to the Land to use that. Sarin' is great, and we had a nice ride, but we don't understand why people wait such ridiculous times for it. We've seen the wait time get above 2 hours, and I just don't think I would ever wait that long for that ride.
After we got off, we decided to do Living with the Land because the wait was only about 15 minutes. That's always a fun ride, and I love how they're always putting something new in the greenhouses.

When we got off the ride it was a little after 5:00, so we were starting to think about where we wanted to eat dinner. We checked out the Sunshine Seasons food court, but nobody saw anything they really wanted, so we decided to go over to the Electric Umbrella. We got there, everybody picked what they wanted, then we went to go find a couple of tables while Dad and Nathan ordered. The food came out quickly, and we all sat down together. Mom and I both got the caesar salad, Travis got the meatball sandwich, and I think everyone else got hamburgers.

Everyone enjoyed their food and there were no complaints! While we ate we discussed what our plans were for after dinner. We had FastPasses for Mission Space that would be good, so we decided to do that after we ate and then go from there.
So, when we were all done eating we headed over there. Travis and I did the less intense version, Dad sat out, and everyone else did the more intense version. I think that ride is tons of fun, mostly because I just like pushing all the buttons and pretending I'm on an actual spaceship. Yes, I know it's silly, but I'm a child, remember? Travis and I got off first, but everyone else came off just behind us. It was around 6:15 now, and we had to decide what to do next. After talking it over Nathan and Ginger decided to stay for Illuminations and we decided to head home. So, we said our goodbyes and made our way out of the park.

We got to the bus stop around 6:30, and we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a bus. After stopping at Wilderness Lodge, we made it home. We caught a Yellow bus back to our loop and made it home safe and sound. We spent the rest of the night just hanging out and relaxing. We got to bed early with a full day of Hollywood Studios with Scott in the morning and Epcot at night with Lindsey planned for tomorrow!

Yes, it was definitely nice that we got to see our family while we were down there! If they hadn't come to visit, I think we all would have gotten way too homesick!
