Today is Thursday, the 14h, and DH has already called me at 7:30 a.m. to report that he doesn't think his plane will be taking off in time. So, I will now check with the airline periodically to see what the status of his plane is. I decided that if I went to a park, I just might forget all about DH (wouldn't want to do that) so I told my friends that I was in the mood to do some hotel hopping and see of their fabulous Christmas displays. Some of the hotels are known to have fantastic Gingerbread House displays along with all of their decorations. So, we're off - first stop is the Polynesian - one of my favorite hotels to visit even if I never have stayed there. It reminds me of Hawaii, then we decided to monorail hop to the other 2 - The Grand Floridian, and the Contemporary. I don't know what it is but anywhere I go, I always seem to be full of Christmas spirit with all of the beauty of the different decorations at each hotel. We decided to stop by the Wilderness Lodge on the way back to OKW, with another quick stop at Port Orleans, we already saw the decor at Dixie Landings when we had our breakfast there yesterday. Then it was time for my friends to go over to have their dinner at MGM with guaranteed seating for Fantasmic. Tried as they might, they couldn't convince me to tag along. DH's plane was finally due to take off at 5:30 p.m. and I really didn't want to leave him stranded at the airport. So I drove my friends over and dropped them off at MGM and tried to decide how to spend my time while waiting for DH. It was still warm and the sun was out, so I decided to hit the jacuzzi and the pool one last time. The weather was not so promising in the days to come. DH's plane finally landed at 9:02 p.m. that night - only a few hours behind schedule, he was supposed to come in at 7:30 p.m., anyway, we drove back to OKW and he really wanted to relax in the jacuzzi so we went over by the pool and I kept him company. It was a nice relaxing evening for him (sort of) but he knew I would get him going tomorrow. Back at the room, we enjoyed my friends' company and it was time for a walk before a much needed nite's sleep.
