How to tell authenticity of pins??? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hello, I'm sure this has probably been covered but can someone please help me in regards to how one can determine if a pin is an authentic Disney pin or a fake? Friend gave me some pins from Epcot tapestry of nations and I would like to determine if they are authentic.

I would suggest going to pinpics.com gallery.
Find your pins.

If there are scrappers of the pin, someone usually lists the scrapper difference at bottom.

I just found a great thread on a pin site that gives good tips on what to look for. Actually in the middle of reviewing our pins and came across this post. it's depressing to see some we got from trading at parks that look like scrapers and counterfeits.
