Anyone make (or have made) T-shirts for everyone?
I want to make t-shirts for everyone in our group with iron on transfers. I found clipart that I watn to use of all the characters. My problem is what to write under the picture? It will be a group of 8 of us, all family, but not a family reunion. I'm thinking mabye the date. We will only be goign to the Magic Kingdom. Any ideas? Has anyone done anything similar? I don't want to put the family name or anything because we all have different names. So any help would be appreciated.

I started making shirts for our trips about three years ago. Two years ago we went with our extended family and not everyone had the same last names, so I designed the backs all the same and then created an additional transfer with their name on it and a graphic of their favorite Disney character that I put on the front of the shirt. I did it the hard way by allowing everyone to have different colored shirts. The next year we all used white it was so much easier. I would attach a photo, but not sure how to do that on this site.
For the back of the shirt I used a "gang" photo (all characters) and just wrote Walt Disney World 2003. It was definitely worth the time and money that was put into the shirts. Good luck. If I figure out how to attach a photo, I'll do so, and if you figure it out be sure and post your creation! Good Luck! CBS

I still like the idea of a glass slipper

Our tie dyed shirts definitely got the most attention from CM's (generally a joke about not allowing my dh or kids to do the laundry anymore), and they stood out great! We could always find ourselves easily in the ride photos.

Thanks for all of the ideas. I bought everyone white t-shirts already and picked out cute clipart. It's a group picture of all the classic characters. I like the idea of putting Walt Disney World 2005 under the picture. I think I will put the picture on front with that under it, maybe I can find a disney font. I'm thinking for pictures. I think we'll get a group shot in front of the castle first thing (before everyone gets dirty). Thanks for all the ideas. Anyone else done anything different? The tie dye ideas are great. It sure seems it would help keep up with everyone!

Yes, I made tie-dye mickey head t-shirts for the whole crew of about 15!
![]() I got the pattern from TheMoueForLess website: http://www.themouseforless.com/commu...se/shirt.shtml I saw a big family with these kind of t-shirts just this past December. They had a bigger Mickey head than I did and they only used Blue and Red. Now that my original t-shirts are worn I think I'll make some for my next trip. Just remember ... you need to buy 100% cotton t-shirts of it won't be as bright.

Robin--our tie dyes were Mickey heads like that, too! Here I thought I was being original, and the idea is already out on the web. I had made hearts before using the same technique, so I decided to see if a Mickey head would work.
Actually, three of the five of us had Mickey heads...the "big" boys (dh and ds 13) were too cool to make Mickey, so they just made regular tie dye. Beth

Where did you find the clip art of all the characters? I have been searching for one for our t-shirts for next month.
Thanks Lori |

Lori--What do you plan to write on your shirts, if anything?
I'd like to somehow personalize them with each person's name. any suggestions as to how/where to put the name? |

We are going to WDW next month with our son 19 months and extended famlily. I would like to make t-shrits or sweatshirts for kids ages 3 months to 10 years old. How do you apply the clip art to the shirt?

With Photo Transfer paper. I personally put the clip art (or photos) into MS Word, add word art adn then reverse the image, print and iron on.
Also, I buy t-shirts when they go on sale at Michaels 2/$5.00. |
