Anything special at DTD Lego store?

The Build a Bear thread got me thinking, is there anything special to buy at the Lego store in DTD? DH and DS are Lego junkies so I know we will be checking out the store but if there is nothing special I'm wondering if I should try to stop them from buying anything because the prices will be higher?

I do not beleive the Lego store in DTD has exclusive merchandise like BAB does.
It is very cool to check out the Disney characters made up of Legos...I mean...The Maleficent Dragon is on the top of the store for crying out loud...what more would you want?

I thought there would be something special there too but nope. It's neat to see the store for the giant lego sculptures but no cool disney thing. Surprising isn't it? I thought for sure we could get a neat mickey lego set or something.

We've always thought this was strange too. Marketing wise they should have disney sets. How fun would a Lego cinderellas castle be?

The DTD store does offer a magnet with a minifigure that says "I love Anaheim" on the t-shirt as well as a minifigure keychain that also shows "I heart Anaheim". Each were $4.99.

The large scale models are cool. They do have a large selection of Pick-A-Brick. Other than that the merchandise is the same as a regular Lego Store.

they didn't even have that when we were there in Sept of 12. And I heart Anaheim? that is kind of lame IMO.

They do have the outdoor play area that's unlike any other Lego Store I've visited. The ramps for downhill racing cars was interesting, although they did tell a kid in my group (my cousin's kid) that kids weren't allowed to climb on it.

That doesn't sound un reasonable to me.

I too wish they had a Disneyland unique item here. I thought they would the first time we went and we looked high and low in the store for something. Get on it Lego, you'd make a fortune

It is a very fun place to visit and get pictures with your kids in front of the lego statues.

The sleeping beauty dragon fight on top of the building is just amazing.

There's nothing special to buy.

Same prices as at any Lego store I've noticed, FWIW. Not higher, unless your sales tax is lower than Anaheim's. Or if you normally buy your stuff elsewhere. We tend to buy at the Lego store b/c of the VIP program.

A LEGO Disney Princess line (using LEGO bricks, not DUPLO like the current sets) is releasing later this year. It won't be exclusive to the Disney LEGO stores, though.

Here are the Anaheim Store "exclusives". As others have mentioned here are no Disneyland specific items/sets.
