I've got 10 people on the list for Iron Hill Brewery on Saturday night so far! Please PM me if you'd like to join for dinner/drinks.

I am emailing back and forth with Embassy Suites about their free shuttle service, and whether or not they will drop off/pick up a group staying at the hotel (certainly better than driving after being at a bar, and free is better than taking a taxi!) Once I have all the details on that, I'll post them here.

This will be a pay-at-the-time thing... so whatever you order, you pay for that night. I'm only keeping a list for the sake of getting a reservation and the possible shuttle

PERFECT!!
Thanks Gillian. I was going to email you today about the shuttle possibility. Great minds...
I sure hope they can provide the shuttle- it would be a huge help.

I unfortunately won't be able to make the dinner that night, as I have to get back home for a performance I'm in that evening. But I just wanted to say that if you haven't been to Iron Hill Brewery, it's fantastic! If you like sweet/fruity beers, you must try the raspberry wheat. It's my favorite beer out of any beer anywhere

Sorry you can't make it, but I'm glad to hear more good things about the place! I don't normally like sweet beers, but I will give the raspberry wheat a shot, anyway!

We're up to 12 people on the list so far. Unfortunately, the hotel shuttle will most likely not work for us, as it only carries "about 6" people, according to the woman I've been emailing with. Also, they stop running at 10pm. She did give me a phone number for a taxi company, which is probably the route I will take. Shouldn't be too expensive, since it's only 2 miles. All I know is I'm not driving I'll gladly share that phone number with anyone who needs it, and we will have room in our taxi for another 2 people (assuming 4 passenger limit).

Another thing y'all may not know -- Embassy Suites does what they call a Manager's Reception, every night between 5:30 and 7:30 in their lobby. This is included in the price of your stay, and includes light snacks and a full bar. Very cool! We'll be checking that out, for sure! Probably both nights!

We WILL BE able to take credit cards at the meet! If you do use your credit card the fee will be 2.8% (price of items x 2.8%).

Rocky Horror / Iron Hill Brewery Shuttle?

If the people on the list wish to save themselves the hassle of driving, the cost of parking, and the possibility of a DUI by going in on a charter bus or a limo or two, let me know. I'll work on getting a ride together.

RHPS information is here - only $5.25 + $1.00 for the goodie bag!

I could perhaps get a shuttle run at say 6pm to the Iron Hill brewery, a pickup at 10PM, people could WALK to the theatre at midnight, and another pickup at 1:30AM at the theatre.

I'm posting a survey question on the Event Page on Facebook with possible price ranges. Post responses either here, PM to ShesAPirate if you haven't signed up already, or post on the event page: bit.ly/dedismeet .

Powerof10DE.org update!

For all of your traveling into Newark for the first time, I've updated the website with a new section called MAPS.

Guess what that page has on it....

Thank You, Pete!

I'd like to thank Pete & the DIS Unplugged Team for the shameless plug on today's podcast!

We'll be very glad to welcome Pete, kathy, Teresa, Craig, & Dustin to their first stay in Delaware!

And to Shaun & his parents - Happy Homecoming!

Don't worry Shawn, we won't embarrass you by figuring out which Delaware Middle School you went to and hanging a banner-sized class photo with you circled on it above the door...

James
