pin trading
Im going to Disney next year and was hoping to start pin trading again, bearing in mind I haven't done it since 2006 when I was about 9/10 I was wondering how much it has changed.
Also do they do pin with purchase like California? Do they still do the limited with mickey heads on them? And finally would it be alright to trade pins which will be 8yrs old at least (would the ones with mickeys head(limited edition) be better?) |

We love to pin trade and were in WDW in Sept. No, I don't think it matters if you're trading old pins. CMs don't mind - that's who we usually trade with. Or kids who are looking at our lanyards and want to trade. We don't walk around with anything that we wouldn't want to trade anyway.
Some changes - there aren't talks with Scoop Sanderson at MK anymore ![]() but on the plus side a few places have large pin boards (I remember the pin trading store at Downtown Disney and the store on the 4th floor at the Contemporary specifically) where you can trade up to 2 pins at a time. Pins are changing all the time - check out dizpins.com for some info.

Oops, forgot to add that that page is older, and there's a link for the "Disney approved" official pin trading site from there too. disneypins.com is the new stuff. (need more coffee this morning...)
