New from Georgia - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi everyone,
Quickly wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking around for a few weeks and decided to get more involved in the community.

My wife and I live just north of Atlanta. We are Disney vets, but have really caught the fever recently (especially me). We visited WDW for 5 days in February and already have other trips planned for September and December. We have a 9 month old daughter who I can't wait to take for the first time in a few years.

I hope to learn alot from you guys.

Welcome to the Dis!! There are quite a few folks from Georgia on the Dis. This is the place to be for info and money saving tips.

Thanks for the welcome. I've already learned quite a bit.

We used to just go without a plan, but we're learning that the more you plan ahead, the more relaxed and fun it is.

Hello and welcome! I always get excited when I see fellow Disney fans from GA here on the boards! My hubby and I live in Barrow County, and we are also thankful to be only one state away from our happy place...though that drive seems to be awful long some times!

Yep! 14-21. You'll see/meet lots of ppl from Cherokee county during that week. Fall break.
