TPR or TTSR?
Been to DW a ton of times and never have tired either of these restaurants (Tony's or Plaza) in MK. Which do you guys prefer?
Thanks Last edited by zbcincy30; 03-02-2013 at 07:27 PM. |

Wild guess here since I don't recognize those acronyms either - do you mean The Plaza and Tony's?

Sorry about that, The Plaza Restaurant or Tony's Town Square Restaurant. Thank you so much!

After I sent my first reply, I kinda figured it might be Tony's & Plaza, just wanted to make sure.
![]() Tony's is horrendous!!! Awful awful food. I'd never go there again. Meatballs are disgusting, my son wouldnt even eat them. Chicken parm was gross. To boot, the atmosphere is cold and uninviting too. The plaza is a great little spot for lunch. Delish burgers and sandwiches, and THE BEST FRIES IN DISNEY! Its inexpensive enough to pay OOP (about the same price as quick service, kinda). Love this place! very cute and charming atmosphere too. Also for lunch, Liberty Tree is pretty good.

We do the Plaza nearly every trip. The sandwiches are good and I agree with pp about the fries - they are great. Then of course there is the ice cream for dessert. I like the atmosphere, it is bright and cheery.
Reviews for Tony's are all over the place, I have seen very good and very bad. For us, Tony's was fine - not great, not awful. They accommodated my request for no extra garlic on the flatbread, so I was happy. My kids nearly licked their plates clean and my DH said his chicken parm was ok. That said, I wouldn't run back since there are better places in MK. As pp mentioned, LTT is very good for lunch. Have been a number of time and I have never had a bad lunch meal there. Of course there is now BOG in MK, also. |

Have never tried Tony's, but to echo PPs, the Plaza is quite tasty!

I had Tony's for lunch today, one of our favorites! Save room for dessert.

We have never been to Tonys so can not comment on that one. The Plaza Restaraunt is now one of our favorites. We love the food here and is the most reasonable table service at Disney World.
