The Daily Grind ~ 2/21/13
 The last day of the work/school week here!!! Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need. Not too much on the list today! So, boys up and ready DS16 to mtg/school/work DS12 to school (DH's duty today) I'm going to nap for about another hour or so check to make sure we have supplies for incoming weather.. (2-4" and some ice...but it keeps changing... so glad we don't have school tomorrow as it is coming in after midnight..the morning rush hour should be a gem tomorrow) *now supposed to be in about 6pm tnt...please just get DS16 home before it with no ice!!!! scrapbook once over house deep clean DS12's room pick up DS12 homework DS12 to finish his rabbit book activity (goal is to finish all 4H activities by the end of school so we don't have to worry about them this summer)... Set saving budget up for surprise I hope everyone has a great day!!!

Unexpected day off. School called off based on the weather forecast? I think the word ice made them nervous. It is suppose to be in our area around 9. We are on the snow/ice line so we will see what happens. Good luck nan.
We have been crazy busy with the normal so won't be too disappointed if we are trapped for the say as long as we have power. Maybe I will get some scrap time?

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need. Nan, enjoy the easy day. Michelle, enjoy the day off, hope your power stays on! Today work dinner? Woke up feeling a bit better this morning so hopefully I will have some energy left when I get home to tackle some things I have been putting off. Yesterday I was in my jammies and bed by 5. Everyone stay safe in the storm! I haven't watched the weather this morning, but I think we're supposed to maybe get a foot this weekend? Yippee, NOT!
Cassey, you must have needed the sleep, glad to hear you're doing better. Today we're going to do laundry and change beds. Maybe go get a pedicure? When DH gets home, we're going to go see Rise of the Guardians at the cheap theater. Probably stop for dinner somewhere on the way home. Sigh, I ordered those bracelets from Amazon on February 11th. They didn't actually ship until the 14th and were sent first class mail with delivery confirmation from California but the tracking hasn't updated since the 14th. UGH! I'm so annoyed! And, M's friend's mom didn't find the one I wanted at MK yesterday  Hope everyone has a great day!

the weather has been crazy this year - I"m hoping spring comes soon today is going to be inventory day for me - they have someone to help me today so it shouldn't be too bad (why I didn't do it yesterday) I got the I don't want to go to work but I know I won't do anything if I stay home so it is best to go so I have money for Disney I took Richard to the dr last night - he had been coughing so just sinus infection not a big deal since we caught it early gotta tell myself it is going to be a great day & make it happen - gotta get over this blah mood I been in - I"m sure it is just the wintertime blahs

Good morning everyone! Took an unexpected day off work yesterday and spent it with my DH. Did some errands, went out for lunch, etc. Was a nice day, but back to the grind today.
Hope the weather holds out for those expecting snow/ice. Please stay safe! Cassey - glad to hear you are feeling a little better today! Jen - Was thinking of you yesterday. So glad your interview went well. Sending pixie dust that you get good news soon!  Reddy - I hear ya about the winter blahs.....but at least you don't have the cold and snow to deal with. I smile every time you tell us you are having a 70 degree day. Today: Work Home a little early Make mac & cheese, cornbread and cut and plate texas sheet cake for scout dinner tonight Pick up DS from engineering Scout dinner Homework check Hope to be home in time for Big Bang Theory Finish tagging and boxing up MK Swap Have a great day everyone!

hope everyone with impending bad weather keeps their power and is safe! Cassey happy to hear you are feeling better! here ya about the winter blahs...9 days until DLR and SUNSHINE!!! forcast right now is calling for mid-upper 70s! Megan made through the day and two hours of dance so think she on the mend! P & PD to all in need and under the weather  Today: gas - scared to see how much this is going to cost bank wrap/package bday gift dream dinners start kitting pages for DLR trip w/swap goodies p/u megan dinner - something from todays dream dinners prep perf team mtg about DLR trip! hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

One of my two favorite days of the month - the housekeeper is here! Just in time for my Dad's arrival tomorrow
 My list is short: change out linens and towels laundry final touches to guest bedroom run to the bank grocery shop And the rest of the day to scrap or read or both! Happy Thursday! Becky
