Were these one time only shoes that were available in January? Are they being sold at this weekends Expo?

They will be, but not many. And you had better get there early, as in before the expo opens. I have heard people will be lining up to get them. They are cute, but after the deal in Jan. and I am over them. They didn't not anticipate demand and were sold out within an hour or two. They brought in some, that were going to the Tink half and sold those and then at the Tink half you had to get to the expo before it opened to get a pair.

They were $133 with tax in January.

I wish they wouldn't limit the quantity of these kinds of items. It just encourages people to scalp them on eBay. Same thing with the princess Dooneys at last years princess half. I wanted one so badly but by the time we arrived they were long gone.

Good news on the Dooneys. For marathon weekend they let runners pre-order the bags and had them ready to pick up at the expo...super easy. I hope they keep doing this at future races.

ETA: But I see that there's no pre-order for the Princess Half Dooneys this year...that stinks! I was hoping they would keep having the pre-order option available for the races.

I really dislike the way this sale and promotion has been handled. I would love to have a pair, but I'm not going to fight for a pair of shoes I cannot guarantee will even be comfortable enough to run in. They really jumped the gun on the launch; if they weren't able to supply buyers, then they should have waited until next year. I'll be running in my handy dandy Asics.

There was a pre-order for the Princess Dooney's it was on Active.com, I had all the info filled out and ready to go before i realized i wanted to see it in person before plunking down 296 on a purse.

it does upset me that they limit the quantities so much that people go on ebay and sell them for $300 + I am in Miami and would not mind going up for the weekend if I was guaranteed the shoes would be there. Of course as long as I was there I would not mind having lunch at a resort but i digress

I completely agree with you. As much as they look really cool, I can't run in New Balance. I've had issues in the past, and I'm not going to buy a pair of sneakers if I can't run in them. It's Asics for me too.

We were there for marathon weekend in Jan and I was shocked to see people RUNNING in these.

I thought good running sense says you never run a race in a brand new pair of shoes????
