The Daily Grind ~ 2/18/13
Good sunny morning everyone!!
The first day of my winter break... I look forward to getting a lot accomplished this week and doing some relaxation too. Today is my tax day...wishful thinking would get me millions back, but then that thing called reality says something totally different. Have a great day!

Hope you have a great vacation, Caroline. Morgan is at home with DH today. They're probably going to go shopping. I'm at work.
No dance for her tonight, so we can watch Downton Abbey together. I wanted to stay up to watch it last night, but I was way too tired. I've got to stay away from social media today so I don't find out what happened! She wants to go to a store a couple towns over tomorrow and look for bracelets. My BIL has created a monster in Alex + Ani. She's addicted! She doesn't know that I ordered two of the Disney ones last week and asked her friend's mom to pick up the third while they're there this week Dinner is steak and cheese calzone. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning all!
Had a bit of a change in my busy weekend plans. Woke up Friday morning to a little guy with a stomach bug.  I also was dealing with some issues from the antibiotics I have been taking. Called the doc and he said to stop using them and to call today if my sinuses don't feel better. Well, they don't hurt anymore, but they aren't better. Don't know if I should call back or wait it out a couple days. Good news was that I got to work on my Magic Kingdom Swap sets that I was afraid I wouldn't finish on time. Hopefully will mail by the end of this week.  Today: DH off work all week - he gets to deal with the boys in the morning while I get an extra hour sleep! Me - work Call DH & remind him to put chicken & potatoes on Call for DS physical appt - forgot to do it last week Homework check Send boys to scouts Finish up pages

Sorry I am late to the party... DH and the boys let me sleep in this morning...
DH says it's because I'm coming down off my baby high from yesterday!!! On the drive home last night DH said so which day next week will I be on my own while you go down and get your next baby fix!! LOL CJ is gorgeous.. tin y little blessing... he and I had a long chat about how I'm the best and if his mommy tells him any different that I'll come down and slap her around...his eyes popped open and he smiled.. BIL thought that was hilarious!! On the list for today: I have no earthly idea! I'm waiting for DS16 to get home from his job shadow... he just texted he is one his way home.. he went in early this morning...and we knew it was only a couple of hours. Done.. he liked the job part of it but not really what he is looking for.. he said he wants more of the communication/broadcaster atmosphere or definitely maybe an athletic director for a school.... We are promoting the school where DD goes... she is a Student Ambassador and learns about each of the majors more indepth so she can give prospective students tours and the info she got for DS16's field over the weekend.. she already set up a meeting w/ one of the other Ambassadors to get DS16 information and wants to set up a meeting for him to come down and talk to the adviors and the ambassador... LOL I'm thinkin' Dsis wants Dbro to come to the same school... I think I will try to scrap once over house make boys clean their rooms (sweep, dust, and make beds) check for homework (there wasn't any on Friday but it's funny when you do the second check they "remember" they had something that needed to be done) I think that'll be it for the day... Good Morning,
Have been up and moving since 7:30, just kinda putzing around really. Talked to my 2 BFF's this morning and then went on a 2 mile walk. Had to wear a jacket since it's still in the low 50's and a little breezy. Nice and sunny though So what's left on my list for today:swap out bath towels laundry vacuum inflate the bike tires scrap spaghetti for dinner watch Downton Abby season finale Have a great day all! Morning ladies.
We made over 100 enchiladas! And the laundry room is so much bigger! Busy weekend., Was tired to sleep but Dbf was snoring so bad! I finally said screw it and got up. He's quiet now. Seriously? Not happy. Today we are headed to Ikea and the mall waaaaaaay up north! Need some organizational goodies and the girls are getting their ag dolls. My mom and sister are coming too. DD#1 couldn't get her chores done or curb her bad attitude all week. So she is staying home. Hoping maybe it will get through to her. But we'll see. Dbf and ds are to get haircuts. Not sure what else they're doing. Hopefully we won't be out too long today, but we'll see.

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are all doing well.
My DS 16 was in a car accident last night-noone was injured, that is the most important thing. But he was very shaken up and the car is in rough shape-it looks expensive.  He claims he will never drive again.And DH has come down with a man cold. Last night he snored so loud, I had to go sleep in the other room. He is still snoring loudly. I don't know what is worse him snoring or being awake and fussing. So I'm having a bit of a pity party for myself while I drink my coffee this morning....then I must start some laundry washing and clean up around here. Maybe I will venture out to Hobby Lobby/Joann's for a bit of retail therapy later today?

I'm so sorry to hear about your DS's accident... I do agree with Danielle 1000%... get him back in the car quickly..... I know I had to do that because when we were rear-ended the day before school started one year, I was never driving again either...
now if the car goes into the shop, I have DH take me down to drive whatever vehicle it is or I won't drive it ever... I'm glad to hear he is okay..that is the most important thing....  Sorry to hear about DH being sick.... The snoring is annoying but I would rather listen to that then the whining they typically do...because the world has to stop when a man gets a cold...but let a woman/mom get a cold and you better buckle up and keep on going because our world does not stop...we are still in high speed (just a little lower gear during the cold)...

Hi all!
Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need. Hope everyone is having a great day! Sorry for all those dealing with snoring DHs. It is really no fun! Danielle, hope DS is feeling better! Jennifer, I love those bracelets! Julia has not seen them yet.... Nan, I love that new baby smell! Julia and I just got home from grocery shopping. Roads were a mess yesterday so I put it off. Dinner is in the oven, scalloped potatoes and ham, will have broccoli to go with it. After dinner I am putting on my jammies and going to bed.

not a fun day here...Megan had been fighting a cold all weekend and its decided to put her down today...no dance tonight, thankfully have tomorrow off from school, she needs to get better 2 perf team rehearsals this week and a choir retreat on friday
