Another Croc fan here. I think they are just to comfy to pass up no matter how they look! I don't think they look that bad however. I have mine in a pretty green color with a couple of Disney decorations on them (since they're really just my Disney parks shoes) and I think they are cute! I'd also just be on the lookout anywhere. Last spring I was going to Italy and found a pair of REALLY comfy $10 sandals at Target. They were really simple and not ugly too. I also wear flip flops every now and then to the parks too. I'm not a big sneakers person so I have had to find alternatives.

They work great for some people, not for others. I like to switch over to my beach style Crocs in the evenings sometimes just to wear a different shoe for a while. I could wear them a full day though. If Crocs are the right fit for your feet, they can be great, but if they rub or are tight then they may be a problem.

Last year I bought my DH and myself some keen sandals. They were great comfort wise and lasted the whole day in the scorching heat. I packed my flip flops to swap out during the dinner hour to change things up for my feet and it worked quite well. When we were at the water parks I noticed a large amount of families wearing the Keen sandals. They are water proof and non slip. A great idea!

I bought the sketchers go walk and wore them to school yesterday. They were so comfy. The best part as that my middle school kids didn't know where I was popping up. They called me a ninja.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but whatever footwear you choose, make sure it's BROKEN IN before you get to the parks! Walking all day, every day for a week or more, in new shoes, is a really quick way to ruin your vacation!

I have a pair of LL Bean sandals that are closed toes. They feel like sneakers. I have flat feet and tendinitis and I wear my mine all the time, even during the winter, because they are so comfortable.

I love my Teva Mush flip flops. Two years ago DD and I both took broken- in running shoes and several pairs of Tevas. We always ended up in our Tevas. During our midday breaks, I would wash my feet in cool water then put on a different pair of flip flops. I have completely flat feet but had no issues at all. Next year, we will also bring our Salomon Techamphibians (great shoes, too!) because it can be difficult to walk with a purpose in flips during a heavy rain. So Tevas in the a.m. and Salomons for those late afternoon July showers. Also, I recommend buying the original Teva Mush if you can find them; they are just better somehow than the Mush IIs. I wear both all the time though.

I wear Crocs a lot now.. and I wear them with socks.. I don't care how they look, they're comfy. I will be bringing both pairs of Disney Crocs and my new Keen sandals (after I break them in, of course). Crocs are also great for airplanes/airports. |

My name is Alyssa and I'm a crocoholic. I started wearing crocs when I was pregnant with my DS and it's pretty much all I've worn for the last 6 years. I wear them to work. I wear them to play. I wouldn't wear anything else in WDW.
![]() (I do have "dressy" crocs for work, I don't wear my mickey crocs -or my beach or cayman crocs to work anymore, but I used to- I have a couple of more work appropriate styles that I wear to work. These have been the most comfortable shoes for me in the parks; I've worn brand new pairs as well as well broken in pairs- with and without socks. They've just been the best fit for me with all the walking around and standing in line that goes with a Disney vacation.

I have Puma ballet flats that are super comfy and cute! I usually wear them walking from the train to my office every morning. I am not a huge fan of athletic shoes/sneakers either, but these are the perfect hybrid of fashion & comfort.
