Another Croc fan here. I think they are just to comfy to pass up no matter how they look! I don't think they look that bad however. I have mine in a pretty green color with a couple of Disney decorations on them (since they're really just my Disney parks shoes) and I think they are cute! I'd also just be on the lookout anywhere. Last spring I was going to Italy and found a pair of REALLY comfy $10 sandals at Target. They were really simple and not ugly too. I also wear flip flops every now and then to the parks too. I'm not a big sneakers person so I have had to find alternatives.

I do the same thing! I always have my good running shoes with me and I always end up wearing my Teva Mush flip-flops the whole time. I always bring the running shoes, though, because you can't just buy a new pair that easily while you're there if you need them.

THANKS!
They work great for some people, not for others. I like to switch over to my beach style Crocs in the evenings sometimes just to wear a different shoe for a while. I could wear them a full day though. If Crocs are the right fit for your feet, they can be great, but if they rub or are tight then they may be a problem.

Last year I bought my DH and myself some keen sandals. They were great comfort wise and lasted the whole day in the scorching heat. I packed my flip flops to swap out during the dinner hour to change things up for my feet and it worked quite well. When we were at the water parks I noticed a large amount of families wearing the Keen sandals. They are water proof and non slip. A great idea!

Also, I agree with moleskin it's a god send.

Both are priced in the $50-60 range so pretty affordable. I got mine at Famous Footwear, but if you have a Skechers store nearby, they have a much bigger selection.
I agree! I just got my first pair of Sketchers Go Walk and they are so light weight and are like walking on marshmellows. So comfortable! Love them!

I bought the sketchers go walk and wore them to school yesterday. They were so comfy. The best part as that my middle school kids didn't know where I was popping up. They called me a ninja.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but whatever footwear you choose, make sure it's BROKEN IN before you get to the parks! Walking all day, every day for a week or more, in new shoes, is a really quick way to ruin your vacation!

I have a pair of LL Bean sandals that are closed toes. They feel like sneakers. I have flat feet and tendinitis and I wear my mine all the time, even during the winter, because they are so comfortable.

I love my Teva Mush flip flops. Two years ago DD and I both took broken- in running shoes and several pairs of Tevas. We always ended up in our Tevas. During our midday breaks, I would wash my feet in cool water then put on a different pair of flip flops. I have completely flat feet but had no issues at all. Next year, we will also bring our Salomon Techamphibians (great shoes, too!) because it can be difficult to walk with a purpose in flips during a heavy rain. So Tevas in the a.m. and Salomons for those late afternoon July showers. Also, I recommend buying the original Teva Mush if you can find them; they are just better somehow than the Mush IIs. I wear both all the time though.

I had an awful problem with shoes 4 years ago and my sister told me to buy crocs at the from the hotel store. I would NEVER have been caught dead in Crocs. So, I got a pair of black and red Crocs with mickey holes and they were WONDERFUL!

I wear Crocs a lot now.. and I wear them with socks.. I don't care how they look, they're comfy. I will be bringing both pairs of Disney Crocs and my new Keen sandals (after I break them in, of course).

Crocs are also great for airplanes/airports.

My name is Alyssa and I'm a crocoholic. I started wearing crocs when I was pregnant with my DS and it's pretty much all I've worn for the last 6 years. I wear them to work. I wear them to play. I wouldn't wear anything else in WDW.

(I do have "dressy" crocs for work, I don't wear my mickey crocs -or my beach or cayman crocs to work anymore, but I used to- I have a couple of more work appropriate styles that I wear to work.

These have been the most comfortable shoes for me in the parks; I've worn brand new pairs as well as well broken in pairs- with and without socks. They've just been the best fit for me with all the walking around and standing in line that goes with a Disney vacation.

I have Puma ballet flats that are super comfy and cute! I usually wear them walking from the train to my office every morning. I am not a huge fan of athletic shoes/sneakers either, but these are the perfect hybrid of fashion & comfort.

I used to swear by Teva Mush, Nike Celso, Reefs, or Sanuk Yoga Mats, but over the years developed plantar fasciitis, so can no longer wear those for any length of time. After alot of searching and experimenting, the most comfortable flip flops for alot of walking are my OluKai Ohana's. Nothing compares to them and I always take at least one or two pairs every time I go to WDW (and as an AP holder I go to WDW 4-6 times a year). Next to my beloved OluKai Ohanas, I like Flojos Xenas, Sketcher Tone Ups, Montrail Molokini, Cobian Braided Bounce, Yellow Box Jello, or my Volatile Keralees. Funny thing is, even though I love my Jellos and Keralees, I am not fond of the other Yellow Box or Volatiles down there. I do wear alot of Yellow Box around here though. The Yellow Box Jellos are the most comortable pair of YB that I own though. Still nothing compares to my beloved OluKai Ohanas. I would never go to WDW without at least one pair. Again I have fairly high arches, but also have plantar fasciitis, so have to be very careful that any flip flops I wear have good arch support.
Skechers Tone Up Flip Flops are great also. I love wearing them in the parks even better than Crocs now. Last year, my Crocs bothered the bottom of my feet when I wore them without socks.

I think I like the Go Recovery even better. They are lighter with a mesh material. Seem like they would dry out easily after Splash Mountain.

I am a Sketchers fan also. There is a Sketchers outlet at the Orlando Premium outlets if you have a car. We are from the UK and get loads when we come over. You get one pair and the second 50% off ( plus they are cheap in the first place ) . Then on your next visit you get 10% off plus the one then 50 % off. It's Sketcher heaven!
