High chairs at BCV? - The DIS Discussion Forums

We'll be staying at beach club villas in April. I wanted to know if they provided high chairs since the room has a full kitchen and we might be doing some meals there. Also, is plastic table ware (dishes / cups) available in the room? I don't want my 2 year old flinging glass plates. Thanks.
Also, I had read that some resorts provide full size cribs. Is this still the case or should I rent one?

Although I have not been since 2009 I do recall a high chair in the closet for use and NO I think it's all glass & ceramic ware in the kitchen. Usually the plastic & paper is in the studios. Maybe someone who has been recently can confirm this.

Yes, there will be a high chair in the closet. It is the kind that slides up to the table with no tray.
Paper and plastic serveware will not be in the unit but I am sure that housekeeping will gladly bring you some if you call (and give them a tip

)
A crib is sometimes available but won't be guaranteed. It will not be a "full size" crib. It is a small one with metal bars. If you don't want to chance it and don't want to use the Pak'n'Play provided, then you will need to rent from a private vendor.

On our last trip at BLT, they had one of those wooden, restaurant-style highchairs in the closet. But the plates and cups were ceramic. I took some plastic stuff with me for my kids.

Sometimes they have a few small plastic cups. And there's always some kind of tupperware if you can't find anything.

Just remember to check under the sink. Sometimes they put the extra dishwasher packets and detergent there.

I requested a crib for our Thanksgiving trip, but didn't get it. They had plenty of bed rails and we had an extra bed so it worked out.
