Any hotel ideas for Clearwater?
Does anyone have a hotel they've stayed at in Clearwater, preferably on the beach?

Do you have a price range? There is quite a range on the beach.

Recently stayed at the Hyatt. Beautiful views, clean rooms, kids club if you need it.

Going to Clearwater in April. Have a reservation at the Hyatt Clearwater Beach. Glad to hear you liked it!
I booked my reservation with LastMinuteTravel. |

We have been to Clearwater twice, once just me and dh(2003) and the other time was a family vacation (2008) and we stayed at the Hyatt. Very very nice and clean. We had a great time
Have fun!!!!

We stayed at the Hilton in 2010.
Very nice and right on the beach. They were doing renovations when we were there and we were lucky enough to get a refurbished room which was lovely.

There are alot of hotels, motels, resorts, and suites to stay at, all with varying prices.... It can be a bit overwhelming. A great resort is the Sandpearl, this is one of the most expensive yet very accommodating. For a very nice hotel that is about 3 years old with a great location, the Hyatt as others have mentioned. For a slightly moderately priced hotel with also a great location and is not even a year old is the Pier 60 House. If you want to save some money and yet be close to everything, the Magnuson Hotel. Here are some reviews of other that have stayed at each hotel. Enjoy your vacation in Clearwater!

We stayed at the Marriott Sandkey in December. It was clean and nice. They drove you over the the beach, which was basically right across the street. We had such a great time...make sure to checkout honeymoon island! We walked along one part to look for shells but then the other part was perfect for the beach, such soft sand and beautiful views.

Last spring break we stayed at The Sandpearl Resort! Breathtaking, beautiful one of the nicest hotels I have EVER stayed at. Great big pool, elegant, yet very kid friendly. It is on the pricier side, but if you can swing it, I swear you will NOT regret it....
I also had a friend stay at the Holiday Inn on the beach and she also enjoyed it as well... Great fun area

Thanks for the replies! Where is Honeymoon Island? I assume we will need to spend over $200 to get one on the beach, does that sound possible?

The cost of the room will depend on the time of year you visit. From March through June is considered peak season, the cost will be more. Also, the type of hotel you stay at will affect the price. So if you want to stay at the Sandpearl, expect over $200 per night any time due to it being one of the top of the line hotels on Clearwater Beach. The Hyatt may be alittle less expensive. Pier House 60 does offer rooms below $200 a night, depending when you book. The Magnuson Hotel will most likely be under $200 a night even during peak season. Enjoy your stay!
