New here!
Hi everyone I have just discovered the DIS and am totally loving it, obsessed by it might be a better way to put it.
In my family there's me (Joanne), DH, DS16, and DD15, we are from just outside of Belfast in Northern Ireland. We have been to WDW twice before in July 2009 and July 2012 we stayed at POR both times, we are hoping to go back in July 2014 and stay at the Beach Club  Anyway, just wanted to say hi and cant believe i ever managed to sucessfully plan two trips to WDW without the DIS

We had a wonderful time, but did have our moments!

We're hoping for the last week of July/1st week of August at the Beach Club too!!! We stayed there last August, and the place is simply amazing!!!! Your kids will be blown away by Stormalong Bay!!! I can't wait to get back. It will be fun watching your plans take shape.

Thanks everyone for the welcomes
 Aliceacc - cant wait to try the Beach club - we toured there and the Yacht Club last year and we were hooked as soon as we saw around the resort and the general area. For me it was the walking distance to the Grey Goose slushies that did it for me Trying to talk DH into trying a GV CL room as i think they all have full balconies and i can just see myself sitting there sipping a cool drink at the end of a long day. Will keep working on him.

Welcome, I felt the same way. Had been on many trips without my kids before family and never thought to plan. Our first trip with kids was good but we didn't plan didn't know about the DIS boards. On our second trip with the kids we used the advice on here and it was awesome. The thing I like about this board is that everyone is nice and it is moderated well. I also like that fact that I can feel better that there are 1000's of people like me, obsessed with planning WDW vacations.

As soon as we got back from our July 2012 visit we started planning our next visit, we were hoping to go back this July 2013 but just couldn't swing it, coming from the UK the flights are so expensive, so the only thing getting me through is planning next year's visit  We are going to Italy this July, to Venice for 4 days and then to the beach for 8 days and although i am really looking forward to it I just can't get excited about it in the same way i do with WDW, I know we will have a good time when we are there, we are going to the same place where my DH and i went on out first holiday together so there will be lovely memories
