Early June Weather? Rainy?
We are going to be at WDW June 4 - June 11! We are staying at Pop Century.
Just wondering how the weather is then? Should we expect it to rain? The last two times we went to WDW we went in mid May, it was dry both times. Hot but not rain. Just want to know what to expect. |

It rained almost every afternoon we were there in June. Sometimes it was a light shower, others it was a thunderstorm. Almost everything continues to run in light rain. Thunderstorms will shut some things down.
The parks tended to empty a little so we thought the rain was great. We all wore sport sandals and ponchos for rainy days. |

We always go at this time. Last year we went Memorial Day week and this time June 8 to 14. It may rain or have significant thunderstorms everyday, mostly in the afternoons. Normally it's a quick 20 to 30 min shower but it could last the rest of the day. On the last day of Star Wars weekends last year, right at the end of hyperspace hoopla, a full scary storm came up. It lasted the rest of the night. If its just rain, I put on a poncho and keep going.

One nice thing about those showers is it will cool everything off, and thin out the crowds a bit.
