I'm thinking of doing the KTTK tour in June---but never know day to day how rested ill be on the trip, and don't wanna book it ahead of time if I'm too exhausted. Does anyone know how likely it is to get a reservation the morning of the tour? Or do they usually fill up in advance?

The best time to do the tour is before the park opens, so I wouldn't try for same day availability. You'd miss getting in when it's empty, taking your pictures, and then seeing the crowd streaming down the street!

If you don't mind risking the chance it'll full, why not book the day before?
