Big Thunder Ranch Barbeque
Anyone been lately? I had heard they lowered their prices. The food sounds good.

We were also there in October and really liked it. Our service was slow but I'm assuming that it's not always like that.

Boy, i feel like we are pigs compared to everyone else!
We went on the 1st of December, and it was AMAZING! With tip, it ended up being around $90 for me and the three kids. We went through 4 bowls of corn and 2 buckets of meat. The cupcakes though, looked much better than they tasted. |

We went for a late lunch in September and it was my husband's favorite meal of the trip (yes, even over Blue Bayou and Goofy's Kitchen). The food was great and the entertainment was fun. We were celebrating my DS's birthday and he was brought up on the stage to ring the triangle along to the music. It was very cute! And, the kids got their drinks in souvenir cups with color changing bendy straws - these are one of my favorite souvenir's from the trip and they get used every day.

Did they serve cupcakes for dessert? We didn't get any when we were there Dec. 18th. Is this open every night year round?

![]() The cupcakes are not included, you have to order them seperately. They are not that good, ours were dry and yucky so we only had them once. It's open when the weather is good, if it's wet or rainy they close the BBQ.

Are reservations neccessary for Big Thunder Ranch BBQ? Can you just walk up and get a table? How long is the wait usually?
Can anyone who has eaten there recently share your experience? many thanks!

We ate there in the beginning of October.
We did have a reservation but we were 13 people. Kids and adults enjoyed it all around, service was great, food was good. We had one teen that is not much on meat so she opted to eat elsewhere after, there was no charge for her.

Does anyone know what the vegetarian option is at this place? I don't do meat with bones, but it looks like it would be fun.

My favorite meal at Disneyland. My FIL and I went while the girls all went to Airiels Grotto for a Princess breakfast. We both left full and satisfied! Loved the ribs and cornbread, beans and chicken were good as well. Probably drank our money's worth on the refillable pop as we didn't get pop too much in the park!!! Would give it 4 stars easily, maybe 4.5.
