Paying with Gift Card - The DIS Discussion Forums

Does anyone know if you can pay for dinner/lunches with giftcards at Disney World restaurants? Not whether you can buy the dining plan with gift cards but whether you can pay for individual meals with gift cards. We will have TIW and I have many left over gift cards from pervious trips. Just wondering if I can use them at the Disney restaurants.

I used gift cards and my visa rewards card at several places in January. I guess the only question would be ones that Disney doesn't run but I would guess that most Disney restaurants do.

Yes, the restaurants accept them as well as the kiosks in Epcot and during Food and Wine.
Swan/Dolphin does NOT accept them.

Many of the restaurants do.. we use gc's all the time.

if you are staying on property, charge everything to your room, then pay it off with gift cards.

Thanks everyone. We are staying at the Swan so I knew I couldn't charge to the room and use the gift cards to pay off the balance. Glad to know that most restaurants will take the GC's. Thanks for all the replies.
