Help with Landry's Select Club - The DIS Discussion Forums

I am trying to figure out Landry's Select Club.

It costs $25 to join, but they send you a certificate for $25, so essentially, it is free to join.
Then you get a $25 certificate for your birthday as well.

My question is, can I use more than one of these certificates at a time, or is it restricted to using one per check/person/table?

Also, can I use a coupon in conjunction with these certificates?

Finally, is it restricted to one membership per family or could both of us join?

Any help understanding the particulars of the club would be greatly appreciated!!

I will answer what I can. I joined up DH in October (his birthday is November). So, paid $25. Got $25 for joining and then on November 1st got another $25. You don't get a certificate it is just tied to your card. The Birthday money exprires like the 15th of the following month though. So, his was only good til mid December , so went to Bubba Gumps at Mall of America to use and used all $50.

We are going to Disney end of May/Beginning of June and my birthday is in June so am going to sign me up and plan on using it at Yak and Yeti or T-Rex.

I would think you could use other coupons but not certain on this.

This is what I am looking at. We are going down in April.
Both of our birthdays are in April.
That would give us $100 total to use towards eating there.

Even if we could only use $50 at a time (since each of us would have a different account) that would still be a great deal.

If I could find a coupon of some sort and could use that as well, even better!

Anyone else know about being able to use a coupon with these rewards?

Yep. Used both on one check. So, it will be great that you are going in April and you both have Birthdays then. The extra $25 shows up on the 1st of the month.

Sounds like you're planning to each sign up? I think you can only use 1 card per table, but I may be wrong.

One card per table but you can use the full 50.00 I did this in December and also used the 99 cent kid meal discount they had that expired 12/31. I don't know if they are running that promotion in 2013.

You can use both rewards on the same check. We used it in December at Yak and Yeti for DH's birthday. However, you cannot use any other discounts such as DVC or AP.

We also used both credits at Yak & Yeti in January in conjunction with a gift card. No issues.

We're planning to use the $50 in August. I also bought a discounted Landry's gift card on cardpool.com to make up the rest of the bill.

Also, Thank you to the OP for posting! I knew about the select club, but didn't know the particulars or about the $25 sign up reward/$25 birthday reward.
I signed up last night, and since this month is my birthday, my account already has the total $50 rewards on it! This will come in handy for T-Rex in a couple of weeks!

We went this past December had the $25/reimbursement plus the $25 birthday BUT they would not accept the coupons/rewards for the kid's achievements. Said I couldnt use both promotions. This was at yak and yeti.... Also, found out when I got home, that they double charged my credit card (for the remaining balance) did get that charge removed after calling, though.
