ADRs in October
We're traveling to WDW in October, and I have been dutifully spreadsheeting away so that I can make ADRs next month.
We aren't going to Cinderella's Table, but most of the other usual suspects are on our list -- BOG, 'Ohana, Akershus, Sanaa, Boma, Tutto Italia, etc. What are my 180-day-mark priorities? I know this is low season, but it's also F&W time. What can I afford to wait on? Thanks!! |

Do not wait on Be Our Guest.
Do not wait on 'Ohana unless you want after 8 PM. Akershus is a character meal, it may not book up right away but the popular mealtimes will be the first to go. The others you should not have to immediately jump on. Many of us who go for Food & Wine don't make reservations at the restaurants.

We also go during food and wine and I have noticed that the restaurants in Epcot tended to be quieter. Overall if you are not looking at peak times most places should be ok without an ADR. We had dinner at artist point and it was really quiet and that was at 8:30pm. Also the two weeks 12th to the 26th of October are a uk school term breaks and that impacts crowds we certainly noticed when we have crossed over the dates for it in the past so if you really really want to eat somewhere book it. |

Awesome; thanks!
It's me, DH, DS (8), and DD (3). So I'm aiming for kind of a venn diagram of kid stuff, adult stuff, and places that hopefully overlap into both categories. My kids are generally adventurous eaters, so I'm mostly just trying to get in the special experiences. starrysky, thanks for the info! I didn't know that. DS's fall break is also Oct 19-26, so that pretty much decided our dates. This will be my first time at F&W, so I'm really excited about the timing! |

BOG is only one that you would have immediate trouble with. But Boma, Akerhaus, and Ohana all get limited within 90 days especially during prime dining hours.
