Some quick questions from a mid-20's newbie

Hi everyone. These boards have been a fantastic resource so far, and we are getting pumped for our trip to Disney. We are a mid 20's couple celebrating our engagement!

We are staying 2 nights at POR and had a couple quick questions if someone would be so kind to give advice/assist! I have been to the world numerous times as a kid (stayed at GF, WL, Y&B, BW) but this is the first time I am getting to plan the trip! Very exciting.


1 Online Check-in. We booked through Orbitz, so currently having a tough time retrieving the Disney reservation number. Does online check-in save anytime? For anyone who has stayed at POR, any ballpark on time in the check-in line?

2. We have dinner booked at the GFC at 6:15, Wishes is at 8. Do you think we will have enough time to get outside and watch the show, and, is the GF or Poly better for Wishes viewing?

3. Not familiar with check-out. Are we still allowed to use the pool that day and remain parked in the lot, or must you be out by the 11am time?

Yes, saving time in the check-in line is exactly what online check-in was designed for. Your packet of information will be ready for you once you get there instead of them having to make it up while you wait, etc. That being said, sometimes the online check-in line can be very long, so time saved is a relative thing.

I can't answer this as I've eaten at neither. You may want to ask over on the Restaurants Board for further info. Restaurants Board

You can still use the pool and all the other amenities the resort has to offer until Midnight on the day you officially check-out.
