I, too, just prefer options. While I am female, most female cut shirts will not fit me (until I lose the weight I'm trying to lose).

Several years ago I did the SF Nike Women's Half. They only had women's cut shirts. I ordered the 2XL and could barely get it on. Needless to say it just sits in a drawer.

I was also disappointed in the shirt fit and wished they'd had a female cut available. The local half I ran in had both options so it seems crazy to me that Disney couldn't do the same. I love the shirt (color and design), but the fit makes it one that I will only wear on occasion. I bought my own tech shirt at the Expo though which was a female cut and I LOVE it.

I'll send them an email as well. We are planning on Goofy in 2015 and it would be awesome if they had a female cut option as well as the unisex version.

Yep same here. When the local half that I pay $40 for can give out amazing medals and gender specific shirts (nice ones!!) I wonder why Disney can't or won't. Oh well!

I would still prefer a "unisex" or "men's" cut shirt.

Women's cut shirts tend to fit me too tight under the arms and I pit out really easy.

So definitely give us a choice!

Okay, here's what I sent to them on Sunday:

Glad you hear you enjoyed your run. Thank you for your feedback
regarding the shirts. I will be sure to pass this along to the entire
runDinsey team, and also the Cast Member who oversees shirt orders.

Here's hoping if enough people complain they will make some changes.

Well, if they don't ever change the shirts maybe I'll steal an idea I saw on Facebook and make a quilt out of all of my ugly shirts.

Just finished the quilt (ok just the top for now) from old race t-shirts. I'll worry about quilting it when I get back- right now i'm thinking of making the back out of the tech shirts I don't wear- or maybe the shorter race t-shirts I have, haven't decided yet.

This is somewhat off topic, but I am a little surprised that they are still using Champion T shirts. Given the amount of press the new partnership with New Balance received at the time of the marathon, and the fact that New Balance made custom (and, ahem, gender-specific) runDisney shoes, I sort of expected the shirts to be New Balance as well.

And yes, I know Champion still has the deal with Wide World of Sports, but the New Balance deal is specifically with runDisney.

Maybe in the future they will make the change; I know my wife really likes her New Balance tech shirts, so if they do, that might solve the dilemma.
