FD and Columbus Day?
I have really been overthinking the potential FD offer for fall due to schedules of people in our group and the lack of their funds for the trip. I have looked at all of the historical blackout dates of October FD in past years and determined that the week prior to Columbus Day has had FD dates that end either Wednesday or Thursday of that week. Columbus Day is the 14th this year. Does this mean the dining dates will be extended 10/9 or 10/10. I am just trying to determine whether past dates have had anything at all to do with the holiday. It is a great time for us to travel as there is a 4 day weekend from school and my DS would miss much less school. We unfortunately need the discount in order to make the trip happen. Any thought son the matter are greatly appreciated.

That's really hard to determine. Even more so since FD as a general discount appears to be pretty bleak. January/February did not receive FD when they historically have in the past.
I'd say go with the farthest day away from Columbus Day that you can for a check in to up your odds. |
