Crowds right now

Have been hearing from friends that just got back from Disney in the last week or so that it was relatively crowded. This is supposed to be the slow time of year and when we were there in Feb 2012, it was AWESOME. But with the new resort and Fantasyland being open, I'm wondering if that's having a big impact on crowds. We leave for our long drive to Disney on Thursday, arriving Friday. Can anyone there now tell me how the crowds are? Just wondering what to expect.

We just got back yesterday. It was more crowded than I thought it would be. We used to Always go in Jan. and we had not found it as crowded then as it was this past week.

I think some people came because their kids were off a day or two from school. I think crowds this week are Already decreased so I think you will be find crowd -wise.

New Fantasyland was packed while we were there. That may not change for a while.

Thanks! I'm spoiled for sure because crowds were light on both of our last trips (we built our trips around the crowd calendar).
