online check in room requests vs ms room requests

If you make a room request for a certain floor or area with ms when you make your reservation and then do online check in what requests are looked at. For instance at okw I requested top floor with ms but withh online check in you can only request first floor, so what do they look at when assigning you a room? Or do you not put anything down and just leave the requests you made with ms as they are? Thanks for any help wirh this matter.

If you've already made a request through MS, you leave that part blank when you do online check-in. Your MS request will be there even though it doesn't show up during online check-in.

Thanks so much I could not remember what I did before. I only did online check in two times and both times I was lucky and my room was ready at check in. The last few trips I did not and never had a room till 4, even though they say it does not matter I think I'll do online this trip and see if my luck holds out.
