Newbie to the site

Hello fellow Disney Fanatics. So far I really enjoy this page looking through it. Upon reading some of the post people are using abbreviated words usually just a couple letters. I am curious to what they mean so I can get up to speed. Just tell me what you use and the meaning of it. Thank again for all your help.

Welcome! I think this is a fun site to use too! I don't know what abbreviations you've seen, but if you post some samples, I will see if I can help you.

A couple things I remember were FE and KTTW which I dont know if they are universal or just something that poster had used.

FE I am not sure of.... KTTW is Key to the World... the room key/ticket/dining card/charge card/everything card you use while at Disney. Hope that helps. It does take some time to catch on to some of the lingo, but everyone seems very nice and helpful if you ask. Welcome!

Hi,

Welcome and have fun planning. I am also fairly new to the board found it really confusing at first with all the abbreviations but slowly getting the hang of them now

Everyone has been really helpful though so I am sure someone can answer all your questions

FE= Fish Extender
A pocket like thing that hangs (therefore extends) the FISH decor/message center outside a DCL (Disney Cruise Line) stateroom- useful for gift exchanges organized on the DISboards
