Contact sdlong329 http://www.disboards.com/showpost.ph...&postcount=560 DISMEET Embarkation Day (Day 1, May 6) at 3:00pm Meet at the Promenade Lounge, Deck 3 for a meet and greet of your fellow cruisers. Bring any stateroom changes to the FE leader at that time. Get your GREEN on! Here is info on the history of lime green and the dis. http://www.disboards.com/showpost.ph...9&postcount=22 KIDS DISMEET Embarkation Day (Day 1, May 6) after lunch at the Mickey Pool. Weather permiting. CHAMPAGNE GIRLS Get your PINK on! --We'll meet the second day at sea (Day 4, May 9) at 3:00 pm in the Promenade Lounge. --We'll just individually order from the bar (doesn't have to be champagne or even an alcoholic drink). Being a CG is a 'state of mind,' not what you drink. --Keep the CG tradition going by getting your PINK on! Be sure to wear pink and a pink feather boa and a tiara. (Check out Party City, Michael's, Total Crafts, etc. for an inexpensive boa and tiara.) --Bring your camera for some great pictures. FYI: Technically, 'Champagne Girls' just means two or more adult (over 21) girls getting together to drink champagne on a DCL cruise. It started a few years ago on DIS and the tradition just keeps evolving. One tradition that marks the gathering as a true 'Champagne Girls' meet is that everyone wears pink and, if they want, a pink feather boa and a tiara. SHOTS AROUND THE SHIP Are you interested in organizing? Send a PM mom323 or annichan so we can update the info. Meeting time and place to be determined. PRIVATE MIXOLOGY Thanks Alexis Green for organizing this event. The sign up for this event has ended. SECRET MICKEY ![]() The sign up for this event has ended Rules: Maximum/minimum amount of gifts (for example: 3 gifts during the cruise and then 1 gift at the reveal moment.): TBA A maximum amount of $ for the total of gifts. TBA Reveal moment: Last day at sea, will determine time and place http://www.disboards.com/newreply.ph...ply&p=47408751 STATEROOM CRAWL Organized by WestCoastNovaks - If anyone is interested in showing off their stateroom, please PM her and let her know what type of stateroom you are in! Anyone can join in on the crawl, just to take a look at the cabins, they don't have to volunteer their cabin for viewing. RECIPE EXCHANGE *tinker*bell* is organizing, more info is coming. ROAMING MICKEY Roaming Mickey is now full. What is Roaming Mickey? It's a big magnet with Roaming Mickey and Ports of call on it, with short instruction and plenty of room for you to sign it. What I need to do? It's quite simple. We will start the Roam by placing the Roaming Mickey magnet on someone's door. With a magnet will be a list of participating staterooms and pens. You need to sign the magnet, cross over your stateroom # and put it on someone else's door who has not signed it yet. At the end of the cruise the last person will return it to the door of the room number printed on the magnet. If I get it back by the end of the cruise I'll take a picture and share it with you once we get home so you can see where Roaming Mickey was and print it out. ROAMING JESSICA RABBIT It's the same idea as the Roaming Mickey, but with the sultry Jessica Rabbit. PM vz9p57 if you are interested in joining this activity. http://www.disboards.com/showthread....1#post47428061 PJ BREAKFAST Join us for Breakfast in your Disney PJ's. Sat., May 11th 8:30 a.m., meet in Atrium outside Triton's. Please PM braysmommy with your name and number of guests if you would like to attend. Get your PJ'S on!SCAVENGER HUNT ![]() Please PM yukongirl123 here or on FB, if you would like to participate. yukongirl123 will supply all participants with a list of tasks and/or questions. These will be passed out during the DIS meet on embarkation day. You will have the entire cruise to gather objects and find answers to the questions, there may even be a puzzle or two. On the last sea day, you can bring all your items to the Promenade Lounge (time to be determined at a later date) for verification. There will be a grand prize for the person/team with the most points. If you can't make it to the DIS meet I will ensure that you receive a copy during the first or second day of the cruise. If you don't get a copy, let yukongirl123 know - she will be in room [????] Please PM her with DIS name, real name and room number. DISNEY TIE CONTEST It's Official! Panama Canal Cruise "Disney TIE Contest" ![]() Just strut Your Disney TIE anytime during the 14 day cruise, for a chance to WIN 1 of 8 prizes! It's Easy! No cost! All done in Fun! So PACK THOSE AWESOME TIES! Get caught by the judges and be a WINNER! Thanks to DebbieOBX for organizing this. http://www.disboards.com/showpost.ph...postcount=1503 CRAFTERS COVE Crafters meet for "stitch & chat" at 3 pm on sea days up in the Outlook Bar on whichever side is available. Not everybody needs to be stitching but it makes a quiet, childfree, "reset" hour in the middle of the day. We welcome knitters, crocheters, crossstitchers, scrapbookers, quilters, jewelry makers, and just plain chatters. No list for that, either. GAME NIGHT(S) Calling all geeks and gamers! We've got fourteen nights on this voyage. Who'd like to get some game on? I'm thinking about a flash-mob style loosely organized gathering in Diversions to play some solid games. I'm a fan of "euro games" like Carcassone, Puerto Rico, Dominion, and so on. I'm not adverse to Cards Against Humanity, either. If we want to get really geeky, we can throw together a one-shot roleplaying game. Who's interested? PM Meghatron if you are! (Also no need to PM if you already responded on FB.) FOG (AKA GEEZERS AND GIT(Geezers in Training)) GET TOGETHER Join us at the Cove cafe at 9:30 each evening for hot milk and cookies. We are a loosely organized group. Some nights after too much fun we are in bed by 9:00. CALLING ALL HOMESCHOOLERS (and all who want to discuss homeschooling) DAY 3: May 8th 2:00pm Promenade Lounge My thoughts are that I want it early on so we can get to know each other sooner rather than laters and I picked the Promenade because I couldn't find the hours of operation for anywhere else that allowed children. If it's crowded we can move or something. And this doesn't have to be a one time thing. Keep my cabin number handy with any thoughts about this... 7040, heatherLOVESmickey DECEMBER 2012 PC NAVIGATORS http://disneycruiselineblog.com/2013...012/#more-5384 PANAMA CANAL WEBCAMS http://www.pancanal.com/eng/photo/camera-java.html http://www.seacruisechat.com/ Link to 1st Thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2867094 Last edited by Mom323; 05-02-2013 at 07:44 AM. |

GOOD Job, Ladies! This looks GREAT!
Annichan, How about putting in the first day meet - say 2:30 or 3 pm in the Promenade lounge? Everyone is welcome. Bring any stateroom changes to the FE leader at that time. Mom123, thanks for mentioning Linking early dining! HAppy Day, all!

Thanks, mom323 & anniechan for starting a new thread & collecting the reference info "up top"!

This would reduce the amount of luggage space needed for the FE stuff, and maybe allow for a bit more splurging? After reading the "Why do you FE?" thread, it's starting to sound like a smaller group ( < 20 or so) is easier on everyone.

Thanks for the new thread!
I think FE groups of 25 would work well...with fewer kids and some solo travelers even though the cabin numbers are increasing there are less people per cabin then usual....guess I should get started on mine soon

Mom323 and annichan - thanks so much for starting the new thread and it looks so great and organized!!!
Here's what I'm thinking for FE. I don't mind doing the extra work but it will just mean that some things may get adjusted April 1. I'd try to keep it to a minimum. Last time I did a long cruise we split it into multiple groups and they were as even as possible. Everyone can PM me with the max number of cabins they would be willing to take. Or if they would be willing to give to everyone. I'll make the lists from there once we get some more people. We're still 2 months out from cutoff so I'm sure we'll get more people joining. I'll try to stick as close to people's preferences as possible. That way when we have people that are added after the cutoff we can accommodate them as well... because we know it's going to happen. Also people can start their planning for their personalized gifts. Does that make sense or did I just confuse everyone?
