Birthday Surprises
I have heard of many people having balloons delivered to their rooms with signed mickey cards. I've also checked out the disney florist. But I would love to see anything that you have ordered/recieved on a birthday at wdw. Would love to see any pictures you have from balloons to desserts to packages or decorations. would love to see anything you've got!

We did my daughters birthdays at DL last year (1 and 3) we had lunch at Areils.
"Mickey" (me) filled their room with ballons put up a happy birthday banner, left a letter inviting them to lunch with Ariel and wishing them a happy birthday. He also left earhats, autograph books, a plush and some glowsticks. At Ariels we ordered a cake and gave them each a princess pack containing: Framed Proclamation Letter from Fairy Godmother (which invited them to choose a princess dress) Personalised Sash Personailsed Shirts Tiara Stickers and Temp Tattoos Placemat Chocolate Tiara Headband Colouring pack Make Up Rings/stick on earrings Princess handbook Princess lollipops (large that I put personalised lables on) Flounder Plush Everything was either made at home or purchased before hand, everything was Disney Princess (the placemats etc). I was so happy with how it turned out and cost a 1/4 of what it would have cost to arrange via a florist. If you message me your email address i'm happy to send you photos and copies of the letters etc that you can use

My daughter celebrated her 5th birthday at Disney World last May. She wore the birthday button and received so many kind words from the cast members, characters and even complete strangers.
She also received complimentary cupcakes at all of our ADR's--Chef Mickey's & 1900 Park Fare were especially yummy. We also surprised her with a Tinkerbell themed gift waiting in the hotel room when we got back from the parks. I had purchased it prior to coming to WDW and snuck it out before we left for the parks. This made her day. I even created a letter from Tink.

Keep the ideas coming.
We are heading down next month to celebrate my granddaughter's 5th birthday. So far I have her cake planned for Chef Mickey's I have a glass slipper and slipper desert coming at CRT I want to arrange for balloons at our resort (WL, more than likely will switch to club level) I added her birthday info to all our dinning ressies and to our main package ressie. Hopefully all that info switched over to the new site. I noticed there is no way to add that info to a dinning ressie so I'm not sure what shows up at the restaurants. |

What is Ariel's? I have never heard of it. She is my daughters fave and we will be going in may to celebrate her 5th birthday, I would love to do that lunch.
Never mind, I just realized you were at Disneyland.

This sounds so fun! Our 3 kids' birthdays will all be within 5 weeks of each other and I think we'll have to do a big Disney birthday in a few years. How fun!!! What a great idea.

We have celebrated my sons birthday several times at Disney. We always tell the CM at the resort when we check-in and they (WDW) send balloons and a signed card to our room. It is usually in our room when we arrive back from the parks. Along with this we have gotten a cake from Chef Mickeys during supper. Make sure you get a birthday button from the CM when you check into the resort. They can wear it all week.
