Trouble with Tiffany Towncar
I booked my reservation online on 1/16 and received an email telling me to call back to place my credit card on file. I have called multiple times during the weekday during their open hours and no one has answered. I even left a voice mail but no one has called me back. Is something going on with them? We are 2 days away from our trip so I need to get something set in stone. I'm not sure how I feel about trusting them to pick me up if they don't even answer the phone.

If I was in your boat, I'd have a back up plan already and begun the process of dumping Tiffany..... This many calls and no answer.... In the day and age of cells ..... Owner must not care so I would secure another company and have ease of mind arriving in Florida and sone one is there to take us away.... There's more then one company our there that wants your business .

I have used Tiffany before and had no issues...
I think you should call one more time and if no answer... Go to our board sponsor and call them up.. Florida Tours.. we have used them several times and they are always prompt and professional..

Hmmmm. I have called and left messages but someone has always called me back within a few minutes. I was able to get them on the phone immediately twice when I called, in late October when our morning flight was delayed. I have just never had this experience with them.We use them exclusively when arriving at MCO...let us know how it works out. |

Miniature update: I called this morning and someone actually answered the phone and emailed me back. I'm hoping what I experienced was a fluke. I asked if they were always open because I had trouble reaching them via phone and she said that they have three different phone lines that they don't always get to. Whatever that means. The person sounded kind of defensive/confrontational to the point where I didn't really feel comfortable asking questions. I called back later though and asked the questions I had and it was ok. I guess the real test will be on Monday when we arrive. We booked online because of the $5 coupon you get by doing it online instead of via phone. Will keep you updated!

I understand what you mean, she is sometimes rough around the edges but in all the times I have called she is helpful and I think that her tone is odd but that is just the way she talks becasue it never changes...even when I shoot the bull with her. There is a man that also answers the phone who seems very friendly and he is chatty too sometimes...but I am a chatty Kathy anyway. Don't let it put you off--they have always taken care of us.She even called me back on our last trip and saved me $5. |
