Why are August hours lacking?? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Is it because it is so early? I mean DHS closes at 8:30 in summer crikey! We were there in 2011 and I swear the hours were later at the parks. Also how is the pm EMH being o ly 2hours now going are they both really busy now? Thanks for any responses!

I only see DHS closing at 8:30pm in the final weeks of August. This is when the parks see a slow down with school starting. Not unusual. If it looks like attendance might be up they may extend the hours a bit.

Where are you finding the hours for August??? We are arriving July 31st and I cant find them anywhere??

ETA: Actually, I take that back. Josh has the crowd calendar up, but not the park hours. However, I know he uses this calendar:

And this is only the preliminary one. Although, as he states, he doesn't think they'll change much, and he considers August to be pretty straightforward as far as changes go.

I went to the WDW website and put in my dates for aug it only gave me until 8/19 and nothing for MK but it was a start.
