Where do you check in for BLT?

Hi,

We did online check in and we used to check in inside the Contemporary, but I heard they were putting a desk in the lobby of BLT for checkin. Is that true of do we still check in at the Contemporary?

We just returned from a Christmas week stay at BLT and we checked in at BLT in the lobby. It all went smoothly. If you come in later in the evening, I believe you will have to go over to the Contemporary.

Thanks so much. We should be there in the morning so we'll just walk over to BLT from where ME leaves us off. This makes much more sense to do it this way.

We checked in at lobby of BLT. They were there from 7 am until evening.

I believe if you take Magical Express you still check in at the contempory, you may want to check this out.

This is how it worked out for us last October. I think the packets for those who check in online and take ME are at the CR.

There will probably be CMs waiting outside of the entrance to the Contemporary when you get off the ME bus . Ask one of them - there may even be one there who is asking for you since you checked in on-line. He/She will guide you from there. You may be taken to the CR check in or directed over to BLT.

As part of a commitment to the continuous improvement of the Member experience, Disney Vacation Club has created a new check-in desk to allow Members staying at Bay Lake Tower to check in at the Bay Lake Tower lobby.

This convenient new service is available from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. daily until further notice.

Members arriving by Disney's Magical Express will continue to check-in next door at Disney's Contemporary Resort (where the Front Desk operates 24 hours a day).

The check-in desk in the Bay Lake Tower lobby also provides a variety of services for all Bay Lake Tower Members and Guests to enjoy throughout their stay, including check-out, ticket sales, dining reservations, recreation and spa reservations, and more.

We arrived by ME and were told to check in at the main lobby of the Contemporary and they had all of our stuff there(had earlier done online checkin). The lobby in BLT was always empty except for the person who checked our ID's before we went to the observation lounge...smjj

We arrived by car and checked in at the BLT lobby. That's where the guard directed us to go. It was marathon weekend and there were quite a few people checking in. After a few minutes of waiting, 2 additional cast members arrived with laptops on carts. They checked people in as well. It went very smoothly. Enjoy your stay!!
