Indie "Horror" Movie Filmed at WDW Debuts at Sundance - The DIS Discussion Forums

I'll be curious to see what happens if they try to distribute this film. They guy filmed it at WDW and Disneyland and it sounds pretty out there. It includes a gruesome vomiting scene, someone getting tasered at Epcot, someone else suffering a bloody death at The Contemporary. Of course, it's not like they got Disney's permission...Wouldn't it be copyright infringement? Where is Jack?

This movie has absolutely no chance of being released. The lawyers,I'm sure are working on it now. The film clip I saw online looks bad and I have no desire to ever watch it if given the chance.

I'm with you Mike. I'd love to sit here and say there is no chance I would give this guy a dime or support this film in any way. Who am I kidding. Seeing that Disney is the place I love more than anything of course I'd be curious to see how it is featured in this film. I think most folks on these boards would feel the same if they're being honest. It has nothing to do with permission or bad press or anything like that. Simply curiosity.

Escape From Tomorrow has been the most buzzed about film coming from Sundance this year. It will definitely find its way into a handful of similar fests and alternative distribution paths. Disney have been awfully quiet about this so far....
