[QUOTE=twokids0204;47392862]Been a bit of a roller coaster the last few days...

Well last Thursday my dad went into the hospital with an accelerated heart rate, I believe the technical term is "Atrial Fibrillation". Doc says it's good news that they caught it now, as it could have resulted in a Stroke or Heart Attack while on their drive home. It's under control now, and they will start their drive home tomorrow. They usually take 3 days, but not sure how long this time, as they are going to take it really easy.

And DW has been battling the stomach flu for a few days... But she has been enjoying her bracelet...
QUOTE]

A-Fib is definitley not something to mess around with!!! Glad that he was able to get help...tell him to watch and make sure if he feels bad that he does not revert back into A-Fib...some people say they can tell when they do it.

Tell Sheri we hope she feels better and that we feel her pain!!!

Afteroon Guys!

Won DS game today by 3. The other coach went box and one on DS. He still led the team in scoring and controlled a lot of the game. Now we are one game out of 1st place in our division at 8-4.

It sounds like a good trade off. You can help out a little bit and DD gets to learn more against better skilled players. We are doing that with DD this spring.

Good luck. It really is about the commercials when you don;t have a dog in the fight.

Harder to see the commercials here in Canada though, they the CRTC makes sure there is "Canadian Advertising" present. I'll check out commercials online tomorrow. Yes, some will be aired, but not all....

Have to agree with Brent...

The Canadian stations unfortunately broadcast mainly Canadian commercials.

But I do watch the Superbowl every year... Just ordered my wings to be picked up at 5:30... local wing joint has 49 cent wing special for takeout. Today is a "not watch you eat day"... Every since I decided to run, started to closely watch the diet as well... lost close to 10 lbs. But will have to take a brief break from it and resume mid February, as we leave for our cruise next Sunday.

Another 1/2 inch of snow so church was cancelled. SWMBO and the kids were heading to the vacation home for a few days to check things out but are stuck here until the weather improves. One of the advantages of homeschooling is your schedule is flexible.

Good day to try to get some computer files cleaned up. I have Zip drives I need to check out and get rid of. Finally got through all the 5.25 and 3.5 floppies. Yeah, I'm old.
You know it is bad when church is cancelled

Filed by taxes today using Turbo Tax. The good news is that I have a $50 federal refund. The bad news is that I had to claim Jim as a dependent. Fortunately, I had CJ's credit card # to buy the audit defense.

Now, onto the Superbowl. I'm picking the Ravens.
