Hi, we're planning for a family vacation with DD8 and DS10 to WDW for mid June for 6 days 5 nights. Our dilemma is our son wants to go to LegoLand also. How do I fit this in? We're looking at the BC resort with or without club level?? and deluxe dining plan. Should we even consider the club level? We would have to rent a car if we're planning to go to LegoLand. If anyone has been to LegoLand, could you please tell me if one day is enough and how far is the drive from WDW? Should I fit it in the middle of my vacation or do it at the beginning or the end? Also DD loves princesses hence which character dining is the best? CRT or 1900 Park Fare? Bibbidi boutique? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I can't help with legoland but as for princess dining my choice is royal table!! It was so magical for our girls being in the castle and getting such great face time with so many princesses! You must book in advance to ensure the availability, this is also a 2 credit dining but in my opinion totally worth it. As for the food I thought it was great, we had lunch, everything was so fancy
food though is least of our concern though we love the character experience, really satisfies our girls need to see the princesses and then we don't have to wait two hours to see a princess at the meet and greats!! Good luck!,

Bibbidi Botique is an experience where your daughter can have her hair, nails, makeup done to be made into a princess. As far as dining I would definitely say Cinderella's Royal Table. There is just something so magical about eating in the castle. Also CRT has more of the princesses where 1900 Park Fare for dinner has the Step Mother, Step Sisters, Cinderella and Prince Charming. I think it's other non-princess characters for lunch.

Welcome!!! If the DD doesn't really want to go to LegoLand, then I would have someone take DS to LegoLand for the day, and have someone take DD to BBB, meet the princess's and then the entire family can get together for a signature meal that night. (CRT). With Deluxe dinning, your gonna need to use those credits. Just a thought. Have fun!!!

I can't really help with Lego land either, but agree it would probably be better to do it at beginning or end of trip.
Best princess character meal is CRT- hands down! The photo package is included in the dinner price, plus gratuity... its hassle free. Plus, most if not all of the classic princesses to come by your table for pics and autographs. Next best is Akershus in Epcot. However, the food IMO is not nearly as good. As for the Deluxe dining plan- that is dependent on your family's eating habits. If you are big eaters or eat 3 full meals a day- do it! My DH insists on Dlx every time we visit WDW. I can't imagine going Dlx and staying CL. That would be a lot of food choices! Hope this helps and good luck! |
