Two cabins next to each other? - The DIS Discussion Forums

We are meeting another family at the campground and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on increasing the probability that we get cabins next to or at least near each other.

We are arriving at different times unfortunately. However, we are considering a spouse-swap on the ressies so that whoever arrives first can check in both cabins. Is this overkill? Should we do online check-in? Does the time of day matter? Does begging help? Should we Shawshank Disney with a letter every day leading up to check-in?

Thanks in advance for any and all advice!

We have never had an issue with getting cabins together, even when our check in days were different, you may not be right next door but across the street or down a cabin or two, they are usually able to find something close, you could metion it when you check in that another party will be joining you. Good luck and have fun! We will be checking in on 01/20/13

Both parties need to let WDW know now that you're together. They call it "link" your reservation together.
