DisDads Convention 2013- Where you at?

Gentlemen-

I know there is an agenda on the other site, but I thought it would be a good idea to have something here as well for dads to say where they will be and when. Might be a way to facilitate meets that otherwise may not happen.

So post away and let us know what your personal agenda looks like as far as parks, restaurants, etc...

I'll go first-

Friday 1/11/13- Arriving at MCO around noon with Michigan cousin. She and I will drop our stuff off at OKW and head directly to WWOS to get race packets. Rest of day spent with my mom and her dad around OKW. We'll probably make a visit or two to the Carl & Company bachelor pad.

Saturday 1/12/13- Race. May or may not make this a park day. If we do, it's Epcot and counter service meals. If not, lunch at Olivia's.

Sunday 1/13/13- Magic Kingdom. Lunch at Liberty Tree. May pop over to Epcot to buy the wife something. Evening EMH at MK so I'll probably close the place down.

Monday- No parks. Fly home.

Fri 1/11 - HS/50's prime lunch
Sat 1/12 - raceday/Epcot/Le Cellier dinner (just snagged this yesterday)
Sun 1/13 - Epcot/Garden Grill dinner
Mon 1/14 - MK/leaving in the evening

Friday

Arriving at MCO around 11. Taking ME to OKW then heading over to WWoS to pick up my race packet and buy a gallon of biofreeze. Going to Epcot to meet up with Carl and have dinner planned at 6pm at Via Napoli with Barry and CJ. Watching Illuminations after dinner. Going back to OKW to get hopefully 4-5 hours of sleep.

Saturday

Meet up with Barry at OKW take the bus to Epcot. Race meet up 4am near bag check.

After race, either stay in Epcot to ride TT & Soarin' or heading to DHS for TSM, RnRC, TOT, and Star Tours. At some point we'll go back to OKW to relax at the pool/hot tub. Most likely head to MK for a while before our 5:45 meet up at the Tambu lounge before our 'Ohana dinner. After dinner hopefully catch Wishes then head over to OKW for the podcast recording.. or the podcast after party.

Sunday

Thinking starting at either EP or DHS (which ever we didn't do first on Saturday) We do have a Kona breakfast ADR booked for 9:25. Not sure what park we will spend the day at. We have a 5pm dinner at Cape May. Heading back to MK at night for EMH's

Monday

I booked a Kona breakfast for 9:55 incase we miss Sundays. Not sure what park we will be in but we need to be back at OKW by 3 for our ME ride to the airport.

Backstage Magic Tour... Try to make HS after tour for Fantasmic.

AK in AM... Park Hopping to MK in the PM
Meeting Lou Mongello at 2pm in Storybook Circus

Park Hopping Day. Planned meetup with Don and maybe Aaron? In Epcot that AM.

Morning Park Epcot (only day I'll be able to make rope drop with my crew and I want to be there early to do TT standby)

Dinner San Angel Inn (mexican is the ideal pre marathon food, unless you're behind me)

Thursday

The drive up. Pick up Crash’s packet. Pre dinner libations at the Roaring Fork starting between 4 - 4:30. Dinner at Whispering Canyon. Probably drive to see my sister who lives near Orlando.

Friday

EPCOT. Nemesis Challenge Dinner at Via Napoli. Illuminations (looks like there will be a few of us there).

Saturday

The Cheetah’s pre race day. Will probably take it easy and not hit a park. Resort hopping is an option and the Tambu lounge meet (love their crabcakes). May be able to go to the podcast.

Sunday

Marathon (Where are you guys meeting?) Probably the MK afterward. We have post race celebration at the High Tea at GF (Its a surprise so don’t tell her). She will probably want to sleep sometime but I hope to go back for Wishes.

Monday

Drop the Kid off at MCO in the am and then nothing planned. Probably hang out at the Boardwalk and lunch at ESPN.
