Oh, jeez...I had to really do that at the half a few years ago. And one of the party of the rolling roadblock was a "coach" as labelled on his team shirt. I commented, "I thought you taught your team members better than this," and he was not nice in his reply.

Mind you, they were strolling along the course in a very early mile (not sure which configuration of the course it was) at one of the on/off ramps, so the road was narrowed, and there was nowhere to go around them other than jumping off a bridge. How they had started ahead of me at the pace they were moving (even if it was a walk break, they were considerably slower) since I had started in Corral C or D was a mystery.

Combination of blocking the road, bad attitude about sharing the road, probably corral jumping ....made one unhappy runner who almost quit doing WDW races completely after that.

And while I've got a certain "Team" in mind....if you are part of Team in Training, please tell your supporters to cheer for ALL runners! The idea that you can only cheer for TNT is ridiculous, selfish, and rude...esp if you are the runner looking awful going by and they just stare at you, and then get all excited for the next purple person 50 yds behind you.

I have text/called during races to let people know where I was and when I thought I'd be where they were. I do get over to do it though. The last several years I don't even take a phone if it's just me or DD's without cheeristas to find if I do take a phone it doesn't come out until we look for each other at the finish.
